We can but hope Sparky... Will start the prep for the spraying tonight. When's the meet in June at BlueWater? will try and aim to have it ready for then.
-
Yup rattle cans. I'm impressed with the finish on everything but the roof as it was a bitch to spray at that angle.
-
Ah Rob sorry mate, he paid over £500 for the front bumper alone...which even as a business trying to make money, there's making money and ripping the shit out of a customer
-
No no no, the old bootlid..the one before the BodyWorks lid The Bodyworks lid is starting the grow on me and looks better with the bumper.
-
Artists (me) rendition of the bumper without the seperation...

haha! Cheers chaps..for once, I'm going to leave it be, I've made the hole for the filter but what you can't see is that the core of the IC is fully visible, the top hole in the bumper allows air to the top of the core Got me thinking now though...hmmmm On an interesting side note, I sold the bootlid to a chap on ebay, he turned up in a late spec GT with...guess what...the full HRF bodykit (unpainted). The interesting thing is that he bought it from Envy at a cost of £540! Now I sell this bumper at £380, after looking at his, either Envy are selling replicas or the guy supp

First pics of the HRF bumper on the car, still got to mesh it up, fit the cannards etc but it's shaping up. I added a nice duct for the air filter and cut a channel for the towing eye. Have to say. I likes it.
-
Have to say the Doobie did look a bit pants on the front. I started to modify it to fit the later spec ep82 bumper...if anyone wants it...£20. Collection only from my bin.
-
Nothing would compliment that thing apart from the Bodyworks chassis. It makes it less obvious is the nicest way of putting it.
-
I still have a Doobie splitter...just not using it. Mikey Jay wanted it but as he changes his mind like the wind it's still sat there Personally I love the bumper, when it's on the car it looks the shizzle, 100% form over function...the HRF ethos

Feck me montana...you don't hang about! were you writing that post before I hit submit?
-
Finally arrived, I doubt it's authentic but it fits and weighs nothing (not sure if that's a good thing) If anyone wants one, let me know...but wait till it's on the car first to check fitment I'm modifying this one as I need a vent for the air filter and other 'things' Hoping to take the car out this weekend after 1 month sat

I used to love doing that in my old 306TD...with all the torque it had, it'd leave most chav chariots for dust anyway. I don't condone street racing obviously, unless it's with comedy cars like diesels or my Jag. Last night I raped some young tool in a Z4 man I love auto boxes and TC.

Don't forget Cal, NEVER change the oil on the pug so it smokes like a bastard...then at the traffic lights, with a car full of young burberry lovers behind, floor it in every single gear to envelope them in a life shortening asthma inducing cloud of death ;)
-
hehe... Don't race anything except in built up areas, preferably near schools. And never take on anything on the motorway with more than 1.6ltr as it'll rape your tiny engine. Also make sure you adopt the driving position of an ape with the right hand defensively placed holding the wheel with arm bend. isn't it? nah? isn't it?
-
If I'm a chav, you've got aids.. no wait.

Sorry shelly...Glanza still needs a wash. Glanza Ragger, I remember you ;) we went for food and when we returned everyone had naffed off...typical. Matt rather than satin, it's rougher and looks better imo

No problem, Painted the wings, doors, bonnet, boot lid, rear bumper all off the car seperately, then just had to spray the roof, pillars and rear 1/4s on the car under a marquee. Used 15 cans of Simoniz matt black paint. tbh it's not the greatest job in the world....some parts are spot on but the roof and boot lid for some reason are a bit shit. Cleaning it is no problem so far, just blast it off with water and a chamois. If I scratch it I just paint over it.
-
Thinking of removing the spare wheel recess from the boot, not a tricky job and should release some weight...while I'm doing this I'm thinking of putting a fuel cell in the boot. Ideally, I'd want a fuel cell that could utilise the stock pump and attachment cover. Anyone done this or have experience of this? the stock fuel tank isn't baffled to prevent fuel surge and it must weight a LOT so it's win win. Mark
-
Cheers Gee, hopefully nearing completion for now..the track should throw up any areas that need attention ;) Although I still need to drop a fuel cell in the boot.
-
Yup it's adjustable...Rick stop hanging round outside my house. I'll take some better pics when I get the bumper done, might look better then (or not)

Just noticed son, your sig... is that your car parked in a disabled bay? I hope you're a disabled badge holder, it's not enough that your mother and I say you're 'special' ;)

floppy hair you have, drive like a girl you do...why that is.

Make no sense you do, weak with the force you are...yesssss...mmmmmmmmmmmmm sad old cunt I am, true it is ;)

Shtop...it's too early for a philosophical debate. or is it? If you are getting philosophical, I won't listen to anything you say until talk like Yoda you do.
