very true....I'd do that aswell when the N1 rusts through.

how about a race exhaust? turbo back with no mid silencer just a free flow back box...that'll be LOUD.
-
Doesn't seem to be many vids around....going back to my original point, it's prob because there's no point? Does he just want some awesome sounds? if so tell him to run the filter through the bumper and it'll chatter and suck like a prostitute with tourettes.

I appreciate that Spoonz, but what annoys isn't the no no no...it's when some asks a question and some random person responds with something of no relevance to the thread, or a non constructive post. Far as I can tell, my response didn't fall in either of those categories You young folk...so angry...I died in the war for you etc etc *offers slightly warm Worther's Original*

Nicely put there Spoonz... I wasn't moaning, what you do to your car is your business and your business alone...it's called experience, wisdom...imparting knowledge to help someone who has none. I'm simply offering some advice, if you chose to ignore it, be my guest, I'll still offer it...no need to get upset though is there?

BodyWorks SPL boot lid has landed...

Morning, I'm keeping the wing Si (fishy) it's just too cool for school Last night I FRP resined (that's not even a real word but I like it...resined©) the wing, closing the cracks on the front and back side. Tonight I'm going to sand it all down and run some FRP paper over the ends to seal them up...hopefully that'll fix it. Interestingly the rear wing was used when it was fitted to the car I expect, there's other holes where mounting plates have been. -
Unless I'm missing the point here...what on earth is the point of running a screamer on a CT9? a) screamer pipes usually run from external gated turbo systems where noise isn't an issue, otherwise they are returned to the exhaust. external gates are usually used on serious turbo setups where an internal gate/actuator setup just won't do the job. c) the CT9 turbo is smaller than a grain of salt, running an external gate on one is only adding weight to the car. d) I can probarbly fart more pressure than a CT9 can produce...therefore the scream from the pipe will be like an asthmatic blowing

cheers Nick, glad you like it...get some photos up when it's in

BodyWorks SPL boot lid has landed...

Yeah Si, the lid is metal, sprayed black on the inside...the poly carb has made a massive difference to the weight though. When I've finished hacking it up it will be lighter still. -

Here you go...because I love you all. It's pretty light due to the poly carb rear window, the wing is CF but is royaly fucked so I need to fix it up. Also...it's not light enough ( the lid is from a soleil or whatever..the light EP) but it's still metal and has locks and other useless things. In other news, the respray is coming along slowly -

to be honest, it looks shit (the roof vent) far too large and doesn't suit the car shape but it wasn't fitted to look cool..it was fitted to keep me cool. Might look better when it's matt black, will have to see... -
that's most definitely hot man foam on the bears head.... please change it, it disturbs me greatly

You won't see the trackstar till the HRF bumper is on...and before that's in place I need to finish the polycarb and other weight tweaks. Nobody (apart from Si/Rob and Riko) has even seen the cossie roof vent I fitted to cool me down in the hot months -

The box is apparently 'bigger than the world'....according to the wife. -
Joey...your sig...is that like random spunk explosions? or is it just a bad gif?

Well folks, the bodyworks bootlid I purchased from Japan around a month ago has arrived today. For those who didn't read the original thread started by Rik...the lid is a bit mad, but a bit special too. It's come from the now deceased evo powered ep82 shell that's been round tsukuba and stroked gently by Tsuchiya himself. When I have time later, I'll take some shots and post up any info here before it gets 'matt blacked' and fitted to the car. On a side note, Nick_P and anyone else who ordered any large parts from me recently...your items should be with you today/tomorrow I hope

was going to say, just pop the release grip/washer and the barrel will fall out...just like the gearbox linkage cables attached to the shifter ;)
-
even the might of your casio will fail to map that piece of crap..it's older and more rubbish than even me. But hey, get it bought and prove me wrong ;) Also what's with all the also's? Also..stop buying tiny parts that fit in an a5 envelope, get buying big huge things like what I have...filling containers like a jigsaw then unloading them and being crushed by exhausts and roll cages is the shizzle.
-
silver F-Con..mmmmm...version 1 or something on the firmware so no fucker in the world can map it...;) Stop pissing about you two on the auctions, I've been having lots of fun pushing up turboalfa's (or whatever his name is) bids on everything...soon he'll crack I can smell it.

If you've got a central locking alarm, just smooth the locks out yourself and do without, save a bit of weight and add to the cars security.

Dumpvalve noise with no dumpvalve?
NightSpirit replied to rob300zx's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
Is the car running stock boost? If so...the stock recirc could be knackered (it does happen) the wife's Glanza runs 0.89bar of boost in hi turbo with just a HKS filter and at full boost it flutters on lift off. It's just compressor surge/turbo stall, enjoy it as it's one of my favourite sounds. I run my TD05 without a bov because I love the sound so much -
Not wanting to hijack the thread but spraying a car in your spare time takes a LONG time I'll sort out an update on the trackstar soon...got roof vents, poly carbonate and allsorts to fit just no time to fit any of it which is gayer than Tom Cruise.
