Seeing this thread reminds of the scene from Talladega Nights... I'm all up on Mountain Dew LOL! http://youtube.com/watch?v=HftnffD4mmQ

Here you go Riko: It is a Soleil shell, Jam Racing drivers door (FRP), FRP rear hood, bonnet, J Blood FRP front wings. Acrylic seats.

I'm not sure if Toby would buy it as it's track only and is home brew engineering (huge top mount intercooler...hence bonnet scoop). I have shots of it racing with M3 GTR's and the like...looks fantastic Used to be electric blue in colour. If I hadn't built the trackstar, I'd be tempted to buy this and just map it and run it on the track.

Yup and spring rates of 16 and 14 lol...that thing would own the track but shatter you to pieces on the road. He's got polycarb glass, frp wings, doors, boot (I think) etc. Would be a good purchase if someone wanted a serious track EP for track only (no mot or tax issues)

I have replied mate...check your inbox. The clutch isn't burnt out, I knew you'd want your money back no matter what when there was a delay in delivery...as I said in my message. Return the clutch to me as you received it, once I have it and it's ok, I'll refund you via paypal for the total. Not a problem. -

Evening, Cheers again... The car is running a TD05-16G with 18G exhaust housing and wheel. Boost comes in at 3400 and hits full at 4500. When it comes on it's line a train. Lag though -

I did think the car would run more from the off, the first run saw 187hp at the wheels, each run (and tweak) saw 2-3 hp gains but in the end, at 203hp we called it a day. So I now have 2 sets of injectors for sale! a set of 410cc top feed (need resistor pack...and a spare set of 450cc injectors (for the ep82/91) that I have sat in the garage. If I ran them on the car, they'd still max out. I'm very happy, nothing to brag about down the pub but the power delivery is awesome. -
First of all, very impressed with Gary and all the guys there...big thanks to them Now to the car stuff. At 1.2 bar of boost on a very clean map the car made 203hp at the wheels and 170lb/ft, not too shabby for a first session. We called it a day after mapping it to the limit of the current injectors (98%) so a set of 550cc's are needed...those should, in theory push the power to 230~ whp and allow the boost to run around 1.6bar which should then see the car making around 300 whp. ;) Even at the current tune it's still got a power to weight of 317 hp per tonne....that puts the car above a

Cool.. the one I use is used by 'Driven' so should be up to the job. I've found a company that are willing to send me a sample of some 'poron' (not pron or porn) which is an anti-shock polyurethane matting. Hopefully that'll absorb some of the high frequency shocks from the car? How much did your setup cost Enzo?
-
Hi Enzo, I'll ask the other chaps their opinion, but I can't see why not? We're heading there for 5 days in total, first day/night is in Holland at my in-laws...then on to the 'Ring for 2 days, then depending on the state of the cars and ourselves, either staying local and exploring the area or heading the 380km to the Alps for some hardcore video action. So far we have an R32 GTR, possibly a Supra TT and a superbike...all people I know and trust. Mark

I'll upload my video in the next few days too...again nothing special just a tester. I used to do some video production and enjoy getting stuck in to Premiere..great package imo. I'll be doing a project ep82 DVD soon if all goes well, but that's an exercise getting ready for the 'Ring trip in the summer when we're going to sell a DVD of the EP and other cars racing to and from the 'Ring... Your 3CCD cam (take it that's a JVC?) does that have a HDD. Friend has one of those and says it's never skipped once, will test his this weekend and see if it's true. If I just need a new cam, I'll sell th

As the title suggests, I'm currently in the process of getting to grips with some video equipment to record various driving/racing activities in the EP. Being new to the world of the camcorder, I went for a Sony DCR SR90e...the first cam Sony did with a HDD. The mount I use is a Hague SM1 Camcorder Suction Mount. My problem is, that even in the Glanza (road suspension not coilovers) because of the anti-shock system on the camcorder that stops the recording if a drop is detected (mercury switch?) the recording keeps cutting out on random bends/bumps. So, can I improve the shock absorbtion on

virtual weight ©2008 I was reading in a mag about louvres and the like for downforce...so much you could try/do, so little time to try/do it in. -

A few very interesting points there I agree about the rwd cars needing the wings for traction....my old MR2 had a similar sized rear GT wing that stuck the car to the road at speed. One hope with the wing is that it'll add some virtual weight in the form of downforce to the rear of the car to make it more predictable and less skittish. The problem I have with the trackstar is that at the last weigh in, the DI was (I forget now) about 0.54 or something...meaning the turning centre of the car was some way infront of the rear axle, making the car turn quickly, but hard to read and keep on the -

I'd shag KT long time.... Have to agree, the Bodywork car was a bit shit on track. 1300+ kg and 310 ps? rubbish. The HRF car did Tsukuba in 1:01...that's still the EP daddy of all imo. Don't agree though that it was all about looks, they tried to save weight too and built it as an engineering exercise? -
Rick you can be sure the car will be a whole new meaning of the word 'shizzle'
-
*cough* er I just bid a stupid ammount so I'd win it..will find out the total later.
-
Yup it is Say what you think Marc...don't hold back! each to their own I guess, but like it or not, it's saving weight, adding downforce and increasing cornering stability all of which count on the track
