well i was hoping Nick @ Tuningdevelopments would do it but he hasnt replied to my emails yet, if he doesnt do it then a good engine builder up the road will do it, id just prefer it if Nick does it to be honest. Il be updating this on a regular basis from now on, im getting abit slack with it. Cheers Lads

**UPDATE** Ok guys well after getting the car on the road for a massive 2 days, i had the engine management light come on, which was only the knock sensor that needed to be re-placed, GREAT, re-placed that and all was well..... for 35 mins, the car sounded like a scooby, so got home to find oil had gone everywere!!! did a compression test to find cylinder 3 had shit itself, so the re-build begins.... Im in the middle of taking it out at the moment, and going to have it forged and totally CLEANED!!! The complete Bay will look totally different and be alot cleaner looking, 4-5 months from now and she will be back...... :surrender:

had really good luck with the insurance, then the knock sensor went, replaced that, now the piston rings have gone........ not happy lol

drive it carefull without booting it and it will last a little bit longer, but i wouldnt even drive it mate, id buy yourself another clutch now

there the same engine with the same mani mounting points. Well, i think Thorpy should help you out here abit and give you some money towards another manifold, HOWEVER, you should of checked the condition of it though dude, everytime i go pick up a part i check it out, but then again Thorpy should have showed you..... In my eyes, lesson learnt. I may have found you another TD04 mani from a mate, so i can get it quite cheap, i am going to double check hes still got it and get back to you dude.

wow, that mani is shocking lol id just like to point out i am not siding with anybody here, just making it clear as you are both sound.

Personally i dont think there is anybody to blame here, i DO think that the heat wrap should of come off so you can show him the mani for what it is, HOWEVER, he did take it as a SOLD AS SEEN, so in this case i dont think anything else can be done about it. Legal action could be taken, however SOLD AS SEEN is like a contract, once he's paid you thats it, not your responsibility, and if it did go further it would run even more money that he would have to pay out on court costs. The only way to settle it really is for you to chuck him a couple of quid back for a new mani as a good will jesture? Unfortunatly it worked well for you, but he seems to be having issues with it which is very unfortunate as the lad has nothing but bad luck bless him lol. I dont think there is an easy way out for him to be happy, which is a shame.

id say you would get £120-£130, just stick them on ebay and see how it goes, put a reserve of about £80-£90 and go from there??

to be honest mate i dont think you would get a great deal from people on here as there all after the aftermarket shocks/coilovers. It would be worth putting them on ebay, how much did you pay for them?
