its how they were designed mate, you can have the thread sitting flush to the bottom if you want it wont do them any harm, but dont let the thread got threw the bottom as it can be dangerous dude. hope this helps mate

thats your problem mate. uv got to level them out with the old ones so they look the same height. put them on the car, and if there brand new then leave them on without lowering it because they ave to level out (leave it a week or so) then just lower it how much you want but remember the more you lower it, the more the strain on the shafts arms links etc.... make sure you have a tape measure and just do one side and when you think your happy with it, tighten them with the c spanner and measure how much thread there is visable, and do the same the other side.

well no because the mods have still got the hassle of dealing with all the threads etc.... there should be some sort of restriction for new comers to stop scams, rip offs etc...

just wondering when you got to the for sale section, then you click on starlet parts for sale, start new topic... would it not be easier for it to automatically come up with the sale stencil already loaded so people only have to fill in the info. and it can NOT be deleted. it just stops people from ignoring the forum rules. it does every bodys heads in when people ignore the stencil thats there for you, and saves all you MOD's from hassling people to do it correctly? just a thought to help you guys out cheers dan

it could be, sounds like it.... perhaps if you try getting the two pipes from the rocker straight to the can with a breather on top? ud have to get the connections welded to the rocker and remove the pvc valve,, i think that would help breath alot more.....

personnaly id change your headgasket, then re-connect the oil catch tank, im pretty sure its that mate, if not uv messed something up with the catch can... has the catch can got a breather filter on it??
