Either your alternator belt is slack as a porn starts cunt! Or your alternator.or battery are on there way out!!! But you have said there a loud squeel from the engine bay so my gess is your alternator blet isnt tight enough!

Check the compressor blades are still in one piece! or as said above make sure its spinning! Also if you have a front mount intercooler check the pipes i've known a few people have holes in the alloy pipes off them rubbing against things!
