  1. I don't stay in town, I stay around Huntly, would imagine that the place closest that you'd have heard of. Nah torry aint that bad as it's rumoured to be but it aint a great area lol
  2. Used to work there as well, my companies building used to be down there. Dinna hang around torry when around there, full of the dregs of the society lol
  3. Gallogate in Aberdeen? If so my office is around that area.
  4. all 82's are 23 outer iirc but it's always the inner ones you need to know and only way to 100% confirm that is by taking it out. Unless you can confirm it's the original one then could maybe find out by using the chassis number and giving your local toyota stealer a shout.
  5. same price as the camskill website, got it from there bud, but I bought 4, a full set of each as I was unsure of the ones I needed. Still need to send the 23 count ones back lol Camskill can get em to you pretty quick as well, took a day for mine, arrived on new years eve.
  6. If you can get the shaft off, when you give the outer cv a test, you'll hear a clonk/knocking like noise. Just got to remember when the cars weight on it and it's getting power it would be amplified.
  7. bought a set second hand but replaces the cv's and joints but the banding clips are shit so waiting for new ones and a new tool as well! It's gay like.
  8. Ironic thing is that my passenger shaft is fucked as well lol Maybe your car is like my car more than you thought
  9. If it's when you turn right it's the left shaft.
  10. Yes the car scene could be considered sexist but the majority of car clubs are guys. Although I do think it's tasteless to be draped over a car, but no harm in looking. Although I wouldn't want a girlfriend to do that.
  11. Which way do you turn when the noise happens?
  12. Doesn't need to have play in the shaft bud for the cv joint to be not great. One of mine was knocking, and when I pulled it apart, all looked fine just when moving it about at certain points it sounded rough. And there was plenty of grease in there by the look of it as well. Dinna break it, shame to see the work and money not getting enjoyed by yourself.
  13. Totally agree there bud, still need to tidy up alot of the wiring as fankly it looks shit but it's to cold ;) Glad it helps mate, also did a post about it in the ecu/wiring forum, although it's basically the same as what I posted in this thread. Yesterday my blitz turbo timer finally arrived so today I decided to fit it since I am working from home Although the harness that came with it wasn't needed for some reason, although it could be that the car already had one since it already has a turbo timer. Few pics while installing, although it was real cold and raining up here so there isn't that many pics of decent quality, also due to where I had to mount stuff as it was really awkward!: The abortion that was under there already: The mess removed: What I actually needed without the harness: Area before install: All finished: Wiring was nice and simpe, only 3 grounds to do really. Job done
  14. As stated it is easy to find, and it is near the shifter cables. If you're still stuck tomorrow I can get a pic up for you though. Thought I did have a pic but I don't.
  15. I had seen a few topics about rear fog lights for MOT's, and today mine seemed to stop working so I decided to finally put it into the rear clusers as I don't like the fog light just randomly being stuck on the bottom of the car, looks shit in my opinion. Since a few folk have asked about them I thought I'd take some pics to hopefully help out future members Unfortunately it's not a comprehensive guide due to having one already, but for members who don't have one, all you need is a switch, some wiring from the switch long enough to reach the rear clusters and hook the switch up to an earth and live. To start with, here's how it looked: Again I never took pics of me stripping down the old one, and since my car had one, it had the wiring running through the cabin already, that needed stripped off, I also did a continuity check to make sure there was no problem with the wiring, hence the multimeter in the pic: Since I was planning on using one of the reverse lights, I doubled checked to make sure they worked as well before I bothered to do the swap! And also to confirm which bulb I needed to use: Once I had confirmed that, I set about cutting off the wiring and the bulb, remembering to leave enough wire to make it easy to rejoin the connection: Once I had snipped hte wires, again I checked to make sure that the reverse light that I wanted to keep still worked, as I was unsure of whether or not it was a circuit of both lights, and one wouldn't work without hte other, it wasn't so it was all good to seal the wires and protect them from water, I did this with some heat shrink, although tapped them up as well to make sure: Once that was completed I just joined the wires from the bulb to the wires from the switch, ran the wire through the grommit and plugged the bulb back in. I didn't take any more pics except when I was finished as it was getting real cold! And due ot the light, one didn't come out well but here's the finished article: I would like to have had the whole car in shot to show it isn't just a reverse light, but light conditions means I couldn't. Although here was the pics anyway: Although I know the bulb is the wrong colour just now, but that will get sorted soon enough!
  16. The jperformance hdi copies are identical to the originals. Only difference is the branding on the rubber joiners! I run the hdi copy one. Only minor gripe is the chopping needed to fit the cooler.

Or for members like me who just doen't like those stupid ones that hang from the bottom of the bumper!
  18. I didn't want it then lol never planned on a ebc or wideband! But yeah wish I did lol
  19. That's the thingy! Good man.
  20. Well if I still have my car then, give me a shout when you have something in the pipeline
  21. I was thinking of a interior thing, you remember sanchez found a centre console bit with 2 gauges instead of the fan vents? Was wanting something like that lol
  22. bummer man but un wards and upwards You going to branch out into carbon fibre goodies?
  23. Traders on there have to pay to sell numerous items. While private folk selling lots of items aren't paying but are still selling so it's deemed unfair I guess by the site. I aint getting drawn into it but I guessed Dylan bumping the trading rules thread had something to do with you and when I saw you where banned it confirmed it lol.
  24. there was one in Dec bud! I'm guessing you wasn't there lol
