  1. right thats me home, mapping all done. It's quick to say the least. Some weird readings coming up on my wideband although not sure how accurate that is, and it's not on boost so not that worrying as apparently my wideband came up with different readings to his when it was being mapped. Although due to the weather never really got to use it much on the way back, and fear of the man taking my license away¬
  2. Still not finished yet bud, an no idea, just left it with mike and nick lol
  3. ecu and mapping was around 900 all in, can't remember the exact price though bud. And no idea if it does, I've never given it boost with the standard insert and I still haven't set off the dump valve on my drive down to warrington lol
  4. Finally a big update  The car is now finished at Mark's and back with me ;) Took it to work but had to take it easy due to having no fueling or management so driving off boost is total gay like. But as soon as I got it home, threw on my AEM wideband and gauge, my HKS dump valve insert and removed the silly boost solenoid. I also got my TRD rear beam bushes from Rory's mate Fudi which I swapped for my old wishbones. Some general pics and some of my work: And tomorrow I'm off on a long trek to Nick for my emanage ultimate fitted and mapped. Along with my aem boost controlle
  5. try hitting the rivets on the light unit itself, as I had teh same problem, although on my ep82 and it cured it.
  6. Would also like to ask are they with dust seals and what thickness are the disks?
  7. Very good prices compared to the other kits out there it seems! Whats needed in this scene as in my opinion most things are over priced for no reason at all.
  8. I find it funny tbh, and the axoc is full of gimps, although a few of the folks on there are decent enough but majority are bell touchers.
  9. depends how high you mount it, the higher you mount it the less you should have to cut. I got angle grinder happy when I fitted my hdi, now with the jperformance one, fits sweet haha
  10. looks like an rx7 tmic, not sure if it's cusco though or not. How much are they wanting for it?
  11. I decided one day that I felt like a change of car, later that day I had my starlet. First car I looked at as well.
  12. I just cried with laughter, thats so funny!
  13. Thanks for the kind words bud Appreciate bud, I went to tm developments for the engine. A long way from hill billy heaven for sure! I went for the j performance intercooler as it's a hdi yet cheaper, and I had already fitted a hdi cooler so no messing about getting it to fit. And the speedvision one wasn't the greatest of fitting one tbh.
  14. I was thinking that but the engine was only out for a day, and I was down at tm developments then so nay chance of getting it cleaned up then!
  15. A few other pics since I was down at Mark's today, and it's running now! Almost finally there!
  16. every month it gets treated so nothing special for christmas
  17. Gains are mainly to be had with a wilder cam, as itb's prevent charge robbing in the plenium. Although even with standard cam, I have seen gains but thats with inlets and bodies that have been researched with flow, inlet length, velocity stack length and matched to the ports on the head etc etc.
  18. Most interesting pics I could find of the friends on facebook
  19. Why didn't you replace the water pump while you was doing the timing belt? In my opinion while doing stuff like timing belts it's wise to replace other parts like that so you only have to take it apart once.
  20. oh never noticed the first pic bud, you shouldn't need to bend the "legs" inwards bud, well wouldn't have thought so.
