I was thinking of a interior thing, you remember sanchez found a centre console bit with 2 gauges instead of the fan vents? Was wanting something like that lol

Traders on there have to pay to sell numerous items. While private folk selling lots of items aren't paying but are still selling so it's deemed unfair I guess by the site. I aint getting drawn into it but I guessed Dylan bumping the trading rules thread had something to do with you and when I saw you where banned it confirmed it lol.

Leaving a car to idle isn't a good way to warm it up to operating temps. Best way to warm up a car is drive it, keeping it off boost. And the temperature gauge, if you're talking about the standard ones in the dial pods is water temp. That will read warm pretty quick, your oil won't be. When I had a etb digital dash in my 106gti, it had a proper oil temperature gauge, and it was only just up to operating temperatures after about 10 miles of sitting at 60.

It was a dark dark day, in a dark dark town, in a dark dark country, a group of forum members organised a group buy for model cars. . . . Any use as a story?

Can you not claim through your insurance? I would sell everything you can, then buy yourself a nice ep82 gt turbo. -

I can totally believe that -
Alright bud.

the standard mani has a lip which causes problems on higher boost. Thats a big reason to replace it. Think it was cylinder 3 it effects but can't remember 100%. How much extra power you'll make assuming boost is still standard and everything else, 10-20 at a guess?
-
I replaced mine with trd ones, so I might have one. Get a pic of what it looks like bud and I'll have a rake in the shed tonight.

alternator belt runs the water pump. So it's timing belt, alternator/water pump and power steering belt. Make sure you do the tensioner pulley and all that stuff as well.
-
you still need a gear box mount bud?
-
Change it while everything it out mate, only have to take things apart once then. I did a guide on how to change the timing belt. Easy enough bud. Just a bit fiddly. Oh things to know, one bolt on the engine mount is hidden, one bolt of the water pump housing is behind the engine mount and getting the crank pulley off without damaging it is also a bit awkward.
