  1. Gt's aren't as nice or new, plus you can always turbo the SR. Atleast with an SR there's less to go wrong, and they're alot more sought after. Damien
  2. My local halfords is basically run by a load of idiots, they have no real knowledge of cars, even more funnier is the tools, you ask them for a 1/2in drive ratchet and most will look at you with a blank face lol. And worst of all, they all drive french cars lol. Trade card comes in handy though! Damien
  3. Getting back on track, the SR also comes with a fancy front fog switch:) Damien
  4. Women eh! Lol, I spent £7k on my corsa, but got back what I spent, so all good:D Damien
  5. Chanelle would you like to borrow my glasses? Damien
  6. Get an SR if you can, preferably one thats been well looked after, service history etc, they're great little cars, look very smart as standard, fuel consumption, dependent on how you drive, and how long for can affect it deeply, steady driving I can get 350 miles to a tank, which is good considering the tank only holds around 32 litres ish. Engine is the same amongst the starlet range, advantages with the SR are speedline alloys, TTE spoiler, TTE lowering springs, TTE backbox, rev counter, parcel shelf with speakers, some pretty stickers, and generally a well sorted car, cheap to insure, and m
  7. Any alarm can be removed if you know what you're looking for:) It's just having the time, and bollocks to actually do it though. Damien
  8. Autolok gear lock Fortis lock You'll find that physical deterrants will prove more effective than any alarm, an alarm can be removed with little sound or fuss, try getting a steering wheel lock off without making a sound lol Damien
  9. A lock that goes over your handbrake handle and also the neck of your gear lever. And yes it was me lol, He said someone has just put a deposit it down on it lol, oh well, I should have rang sooner lol, good luck with the car anyway, look after it! Damien
  10. Here's the car at the rolling road day in may. Damien
  11. Snap off steering wheel, gear lock, nice big alarm, should do the trick. Damien
  12. Mikeglanzav has a set of these on his car, green on the front, and white on the rear, i'll get a pic tomorrow if it's okay with him Damien
  13. A decat will just help it breathe better, and as for chipping it? Lol, thats the kind of stuff you used to do to corsa's etc, you can't chip a glanza lol Damien
  14. Ya great nob, this was the one I wanted lmao, was gutted when they said they'd taken a deposit on it, good buy though matey:) Damien
  15. Will post some pics later of the Sr riding on some teins, they're supposed to be the lowest you can get, as far as I know anyway, I think you may end up going for something bespoke, I had a set of custon GAZ coilovers made for my corsa, they're not cheap, but not stupidly expensive, cheaper than any set of coilovers out there. Damien
  16. Not as far as I know, mainly just front ones are sold by powerflex. Damien
  17. There's not really much choice to be honest, i'll be fitting some tein s-tech springs to mine tomorrow, can take some pics to give you the idea of the level, otherwise you'd be pretty much buggered. It's either a cheap set of coilovers, or airbags lol. As for the backbox, you're best keeping an eye out, best people to ask are the ones braking SR's. They're a really nice exhaust, and it's made by remus. Try ebay maybe? Or look in the for sale section on here. As for the remix, go for it, it'll look different on a 5 door! Damien
  18. Nice little car there you've got, the colour iss pretty nice lol. As for the suspension, you still thinking of a big drop? And for the exhaust, try and get a tte backbox, it'd suit it nicely. And I have a clear front indicator if you want it, other one was smashed when I killed my car, but its there if you want it, as for the remix bumper, you may be well having a look through the technical section, part numbers and pics etc Damien
  19. Some nice cars there. There's a g40 polo just down the road from me lol. Quite like the look, but always been a vaux man myself, got involved with the turbo'd corsas lol, wheel choice wasn't a priority aslong as I got traction lol!! The parts you suggested will have to be bespoke items, i'm sure there's a few places out there that will sell something, looking forward to seeing this come into shape lol Damien
  20. Can't see any problem, but it's always worth checking out, I had some wheels that had a mil clearance but wouldn't dare mount them, also check you get correct nuts to suit the taper of the wheels. Damien
  21. Hey, welcome to the site, you'll have to get some pics posted and tell us a little more about you and your car, hope you enjoy your time here Damien p.s. you're not too far from me, you over at the bus station on a sunday?
  22. I just drove a big fat screwdriver down the centre, let it release the peg, as for your c.v. joint, you may have just pushed the c.v joint too far onto the shaft, give it a pull and the spring clip should lock into place again. Damien
  23. Oh you name it. We can supply it:) And thank you dear sir for the credit, much appreciated:)
  24. Lol:) you make me laugh:) oh well, suppose there's got to be atleast one joker on here, may aswell be you! And no, I finished my apprenticeship:) But yeah, work for one of the worlds biggest pump manufacturers, do hours upon hours of testing, got some of the best guys working beside me, i'd argue they know more about flow/pressure than some trader:)
  25. I can sit and talk to you about flow/pressure all day long, one of my main job roles is pump testing, I could start explaining about flow curves etc, give you physical representations of what happens when you increase pressure or flow but you'd never understand:)
