  1. It's not worth running the risk of killing your engine. You'll spend more money adapting it than it is to actually buy an engine and install it yourself. Damien
  2. The pads will rub till they've bedded in properly, depending on the brand/compound, that could be anything upto 2-3k miles, there may also be air in the system which will cause the brakes to come on ever so slightly, If you want to aid the bed in process, get a sheet of sand paper and rub in a figure of 8 motion, as for the rotors, scotchbrite will rough the surface up fine.. Damien
  3. Lol, the gls is a group 5:P I couldn't work it out either, cheaper to insure an sr than a gls hehe Damien
  4. I was doing 110 miles a day when I still lived at home, that was 5 days a week, did that for 6 weeks on end, was terrible:( Damien
  5. Lol, I can be nice you know!!!! I know what its like to lose a good woman, Damien
  6. Lol, it sucks matey, you'll meet someone else, atleast you've got the car to keep you occupied lol. Damien
  7. Car looks fantastic matey, wheels really set it off, sorry to hear about Lora too, plenty more fish in the sea lol!!!! Damien
  8. A guy I know his just dropped off lol, which part are you trying to salvage? Does it matter if the boot suffers any damage? Try dropping some cellulose thinners down the back to see if it softens the paint and glue. Damien
  9. I have done. No reply:( Seems a little too good to be true.. Damien
  10. Found this on pistonheads, not too far from me, does it seem a little too good to be true? I spoke to the guy about it, reason for selling was his insurance had gone up a few hundred pound due to declaring sone points, yet he drives a P1, i'm a little confused myself, any thoughts? Damien Glanza V
  11. Oh it was lol, i'll try and source the spec, proper tool, and it still looks like a stock type r from the outside:P Damien
  12. If its wheel bearing then you should be able to check the play on it, c.v joints produce a loud clicking when on full lock, seek expert advice if you are unsure.. Damien
  13. Where the hell do you get the colour code for the Dyno Rod orange?? I lvoe the colour lol Damien
  14. Hehe. That glanza looks lovely with the speedlines, glad I kept mine:P Damien
  15. Lol, the ek9 I drove is turbo'd, running around 420bhp, not too sure of the boost levels, way too much power though. Plus, it's not all about the car, it's how you drive it too. Damien
  16. Maybe so, but they're both a shed load of fun, just different characteristics. Damien
  17. I like both, drove an ek9 type r and loved it, drove a TD04'd starlet but never had the option to really try it out. I'm not biased towards any car. Though my routes always will lie with vauxhalls lol:D Damien
  18. Lol, I know it would, I'd like to get one that's completely standard, still limited if possible, as for import's, i'll nosy around first, see who are best to buy from, and if I don't go for a T sport, i'll go for a nice EK9 Type R hehehe Damien
  19. Been looking round for a Glanza or Gt Turbo, ideally i'd like one thats near enough standard, and in mint condition, is it worth me importing my own? Has anyone any recommendations for an import specialist? Like Sva imports? I know to keep away from Keighly and Wrc imports. Got around £5k to play with, if all else fails i'll stick with the original plan of buying a corolla T sport. Any help, opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Damien
  20. Check the switch? I'd assume its under the handbrake lever itself. Damien
  21. Lmfao, I used to do that when people have a poor attitude when selling, classic nonetheless!! Damien
  22. Welcome to the site, don't worry about the spelling, it's better than most on here LOL! I've got a load of SR parts if you're interested, clocks, wheels, nearly new TTE exhaust, lowering springs with new rear shocks, TTE spoiler. Let me know if you're interested, i'm only in loughborough. Damien
