  2. Yeah it was matey, and cool, and if you need a hand one day, give me a shout, i'm more than happy to help out. And I live in ashby matey, And the sr is now my dads, he bought it off of me after I smashed it up, just plodding about in a corsa tillI find another. Damien
  3. I used to suffer with my sr, used to do 100 miles a day and that was a bug catcher. Damien

  5. Spotted a green Sportif I think parked on on main road, with private plate and black speedlines Was around 7:45am I saw you on the 6th august? Damien
  6. Looking very nice, could do with lowering just a teeny bit so the wheels sit better, but respect for a well looking car. Damien
  7. Any starlet/glanza springs will fit, there's some decent traders on here that do lowering kits from such the likes as tein etc. Damien
  8. There's nothing wrong with the stock brakes on a starlet, especially an N/A, just use oem spec discs with some ferodo pads, you'll not go fast enough to need anything else Damien
  9. Put me down please Rob, bring back the old days when I used to race:D Damien
  10. Keep the wheels ya gimp, they look the nuts on the car, but if the worst comes to the worst, let me know if you decide to sell:) Damien
  11. There's a corsa round the corner with the exact same backbox lmao, he wonders why I snigger everytime he goes past:D Damien
  12. Not the 2.0 turbo RS, that will slaughter most cars, definitely a starlet Damien

    Vxr!

I think alot of people just can't get over how good a car they actually are lol, they are rapid if driven properly, and i'll admit, some owners give them a bad image. Damien
  14. I spent £4000 on my 1.2 corsa lol Damien

I am on the vauxhall forum, as I am on here, problem???? You're not putting genuine opinions across, you're biased, end of:) Damien

    Vxr!

And where was the word corsa mentioned in the above? There's nothing wrong with vauxhalls, but when people are biased, like yourself, it's a little unfair:) Damien

    Vxr!

Fair enough, you don't have to drive a car hard for it to go fast, the vxr is designed as a great all rounder, which it does brilliantly, the civic seems quicker because it makes alot of noise and doesn't go anywhere, thats a jumped up chav mobile. Damien

    Vxr!

The civic type r's are terrible, slow, boring, handle terrible, and you have to thrash the arse off them just to get it moving, with the vxr, they are fast if driven right, as for being smooth, your dad must drive like an old woman, the vxr is an animal Damien
  19. How much for the shell?? Damien

Lol, same situationg with alot of people, end of the day you're paying £16-21k for a corsa or an astra lol, regardless of its capabilities, they're still vauxhalls lol. Damien

    Vxr!

Lol, I won't either, only VXR worth owning is the vectra though, they are llike lightning lol:P Damien

    Vxr!

It's the remus exhaust that makes them sound so good, I prefer just the vxr with the remus system on, not keen on the arctic or nurburg versions, still cool cars nonetheless, the VXR-R&S versions are quite tasty though :P:P Damien
  23. The 4efte throttle body and the corolla manifold will both fit on the 4efe. Damien

Bit of a silly thing going on about VXR's on a starlet website, alot of people will be biased, i've owned corsa turbo's before, and yeah, a starlet may be faster in some respects, but which will be the better all rounder??? The VXR's are designed to be fast, comfortable, civil and affordable cars, they do all those jobs very well. They are two totally different cars, and in capable hands, both can do some serious damage, but its not how much power a car puts out, or how well it handles, aslong as it does what you want it to, thats what a good car is, besides, my old corsa gsi used to kill glan
  25. It's a lot of hard work to convert an N/A, especially for the minimal benefits, you won't be able to run much boost on the standard internals, though I have no doubt they'll take it, just save your money, buy all the bits, persuade a mate to give up his weekend, get it done:) Damien
