Tyres wearing very rapidly on the inside..
Starlet__SR replied to DaveyDemolition's topic in Alignment & Alloys
My old SR had the same problem, ate the front tyres on the inner half, and you can, but only a minute amount. Best thing to do is go to a reputable garage and have it checked D -
Iamlegend's TDO4 White Glanza V 1999
Starlet__SR replied to iamlegend's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
Haha, was tempted to buy an auto just to potter about it, you're a brave one for doing it though lol D -
Its not cheap but it works. Good enough to keep 150+db inside a car so i'm positive it'll kill the road noise lol D
-
Its like a soundproofing material that people used to use in big ICE installations. Basically its an acoustic insulator lol. Dynamat D
-
Why not just dynomat all the floor area then carpet over it? D
-
Looks absolutely gash, regardless of what kinda scene it is, theres a right way and a wrong way, Nads do it a favour, buy it and turn it into a GT worth taking pics of D

I find old people havent grasped the concept of changing gear which might explain it lol! Its the shift from idle to 4k lol. D

Tracking, might also be worth having the camber checked D -
Only purists stick with the CT9:P Might look cooler but you'll also let everyone know you've got something called laaaaaaaaaagggggggggggggggggggggggggg lol D

Don't get me wrong, there's some seriously sound police officers out there. But alot of them are just tossers, especially the younger ones on a power trip D -
Advantages and disadvantages of a screamer pipe?
Starlet__SR replied to Matt1878's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Best just going for a decat without screamer, unless you're running high power, or wanting your car to sound like a tractor. It's a pain having to get it to work properly. D -

Haha, mines pretty much a bc spec 2 replica, albeit with a larger silencer to keep noise down in cabin, on idle and low boost its quite alright lol. D -
I guess so lol. Was at like 1.2bar if I remember correctly lol. You'll have to check his old build thread to back it up D
-
Congrats matey, take it steady till you've settled in! D
-
You'll be sacrificing some response compared to the standard CT9. You can run plenty of power with standard turbo and the correct mods. Ask DavidAshton, he ran 212 at a dyno day once lol D

Jamie's Black TD04 Starlet GT - For Sale Very soon..
Starlet__SR replied to N80Jamie's topic in EP80/EP82 Progress Blogs
Compared to the TD04 conversion it was slow. And thats a lie haha! Starlets have never been known for their handling. Only reason you had to slow down was to get the power down otherwise they just understeer like hell! Glad to see the cars gone to a genuine enthusiast now. D -
You get that feeling as if you're doing more than driving it dont you lol? The whole cockpit feel. Similar the the Del Sol I had D
-
Some nice jobs done there aaddzz. I enjoy doing all my own spraywork, did a friends radical after the nonce split brake fluid all over it lol! Will see if I can find some pics D

Ask Hou. He's had one for quite a while. D

Technically yeah you can control the fuelling, some do use them and have great results D

Measures absolute pressure rather than flow. D

The A'PEXi Air Flow Converters work by intercepting the signal between the car's air flow meter and the ECU. The Air Flow Meter is the device that tells the ECU how much air is entering the engine so that the ECU can add the correct amount of fuel. The ECU calculates the proper ratio of fuel to air for a stock, unmodified engine. Certain engine modifications can cause the dynamics of the engine to require more fuel. In this case, there are two common options for modifying the amout of fuel being input into the engine. One can either install larger injectors or increase the fuel pressure to th

Which hybrid you looking at going for? Best thing to do is search for a few feedback threads and find some results on swaps, are you wanting more boost or response? D
