  1. I'll be stripping my SR out in the coming months, the road noise will just be something you'll have to live with, just makes it more fun with all the noise lol, did with my corsa:D Damien
  2. Oh indeed, also looking at somewhere to store her down here so I can carry on with the project, should be fun, cant wait:D Damien
  3. I'd imagine there would be a small bit of thread lock too. Rather them be too tight than easy to get off lol Damien
  4. RH thread then, didnt think it would be different, sometimes a quick shock will get the nut loose. Damien
  5. Are you on about the bolt that secures the pulley? A good fitting socket and impact wrench is your best bet. Damien
  6. She lives again, will resume with original build thread sometime next weekend. And oh boy does she fly lol, forgot how much of a buzz the old girl is to drive. Damien
  7. Think the speedos overread by a few mph easy, i can only do 57 in second. Damien
  8. There is that too, it is illegal to drive without a cat, a sports cat is the best option, most standard cats are 400cpi, as with a sports cat, they're around 200cpi, better flow but still legal, the cat will suppress the sound, but the main exhaust volume is controlled by your backbox, Damien
  9. And what are you gonna do come mot time when it comes to the emissions test? Keep the cat, ditch the midbox, the newer free flowing manifold will outweigh any restrictions the cat makes, possibly a sports cat with fewer cells per inch? Damien
  10. Bin the aircon, save weight, gain power, tell me if there's ever been a time in the uk when you've needed aircon! Damien
  11. 379 miles in the civic, and still a quarter of a tank lol:P, I'd hate to think what its gonna be like when turbo'd hehe Damien
  12. Prettu sure I uploaded a flange pic last night, either that or my mind is playing some funku tricks lol Damien
  13. Who removed my post???:S Damien Who removed my post???:S Damien
  14. Nope, kept the cat, just used a section from behind the cat all the way to the backbox, alot louder and raspier, was worth doing Damien
  15. Not if it's been removed correctly, no loose hoses, common failures are just general maintenance items, bushes, bearings, bulbs, not too sure how the imports do on emissions, just give it a once over every month, check everything is okay, it pays off. Damien
  16. I wasn't running a midbox on the SR in its last few months, sounded kinda like a supersprint system lol, you'll notice the engine revs alot freer and easier than when the cat was fitted, but you'll lose a bit of the bottom end torque. Damien
  17. Mine separated by mind, but bear in mind I have strong arms and hands lol, i'd assume it cant be that worn that a serious amount of play would be evident, best thing is to try it, the bearings are a slight interference fit. Age and wear will affect whether or not it separates easy Damien
  18. The inner race does separate quite easily, if the hub is worn then it will come loose, Damien
  19. Bump, wanting to buy/order a part Damien
  20. None received lol Damien
