I never once had no problems with my redtop throughout ownership, yeah fair dues I fully rebuilt it before it was fitted to my corsa but I never once had a problem, kept it well maintained, warmed up first thing, was one of the best engines, same for the C20LET I had, full strip and rebuild, always looked after, not one problem. Its dickheads who buy them and don't look after them who give them a bad image for reliability. I'd always be tempted to go back to one again, but maybe in an astra gsi this time, too much power for the corsa. Damien

the springs new are £160, altogether with shocks it worked out at £400 new. I'm selling because my sr was involved in an accident so are no longer needed, they lowered my sr even more than the TTE springs, I was impressed with how they looked and handled, look through some of my threads to get some idea of the ride height.Damien

I've got my tein s techs on my sr with standard shocks, only done around 1000 miles, handled great, offered a good all round setup, make me an offer if you're interested. Damien

It helps if you find a proper isurance company who know what the car is, many don't list it, I got a few quotes from churchill and was getting quoted £1300 on a standard glanza, and £100 on a GT, my current policy worked out at £1094 a year for the civic, due to go down even more this year. Damien

El Gouna, it's a resort in mainland egypt, not far away from Luxor, it's a private owned estate, very well controlled, nice and peaceful with some great hotels, definitely worth the money, sharm is far too busy and overpopulated. Not to mention the terrorist attacks associated with the area Damien
