That does work to an extent but there are quite a few of us that don't really post that much and as Matt has said post count limits just encorage spam on the board. Like everything if someone is that determined to come on here and rip people off they will find a way, it's just a case of getting the balance right to put the scammers off from trying it on but not putting genuine menbers off from using the club and all it's features that it has to offer. Going slightly OT but maybe folk have got to realise that maybe with the higher priced named brands there is a reason why they cost

MX5 mk2.5 with Mazdaspeed bits - Elsie
Simon replied to SiCaln's topic in Other Motors Progress Blogs
It's good man got some stock wheels for it as a tempory measure as i couldn't stand the cheap wheels it was on any longer. Have started to tidy a few things up on it just looking at a big order of bulbs to update the lighting on it. -
Full story is that Apexi never made a power FC specifically for the starlet. There were two companys that adapted the power FC to be use on a starlet one was AP Engineering which are the more commonly found ones based on an MR2 unit. This one is one adapted by HRF, i'm not sure what the base unit was but could have been nissan based as they commonly use a MAF.

Don't see whats wrong with the current system tbh if there got to be 3-4 pages of new posts in the for sale section every day then maybe it's needed.

It's not the ecu that will make the power it's the man that maps it! I've said it time and time again chosse your tuner then go with what he is happiest mapping then you will get the best results. If you have someone local that likes the unichip and knows it inside out then that would be the best thing to go for as you will get a better map/tune on that than you will giving your chosen tuner something that they are not familar with. by the way before Dave Burwash found Matt at AFR and started using the F-con v-pro he did several builds back in the day close to 300hp all running a unchip a

Would like to find the owner of this GT, it's the one that Paul from Woodsport swapped the 2zz celica engine into. I believe it was sold by it's original owner Chris 2-3 years ago not seen anything of it since:
