I know that exact feeling Steve! Im saving for a house and trying to finish the Demon all at the same time, house savings are winning at the moment. I have been working at the Demon now for over 2 YEARS!!!! and its still not bloody done, or no where near! Its just a massive money pit! I love ordering parts though and just waiting for them, then its like crimbo when they arive Im waiting on my inlet manifold at the moment and im dying to get it. My bro has just moved to Tokyo for a year also, his suitcase had a HUGE list of parts im after so he's now my handy Jap parts importer

Don't worry mate those thoughts are well gone!!!! Im going to a Kitcar show next sunday and luckily its just after pay day as well Should give me some idea's and should pick up the remaining hard to find parts im after. Jason

Yes, came and went quick! Would have liked longer but im back, and working on Demon parts already!!!!!! I loved driving that Black Mountain Road so much! Kept making excuses that we needed to go that way to the girlfriend, ended up driving that road 6 times Made me realise how much i need this thing built, and how stupid i was to even consider selling it a while back Jason

I have the SLUG engine in mine, same as the AS200 import, Six cylinder version. Nice for doing motorway miles but my god its slow, and the amount of fuel it gets through is just Savage! The RS200 version is the one you want, Four cylinder import, more power, lighter etc etc only problem is this has less 'option' wise. Doesn't have leather interior, heated seats etc etc Where as the lexus ones do! Jason

Well im back Wales was pretty good to be honest, just chilled most of the time! ......and my god!!!!! That Black Mountain Road was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the many places i will be visiting when the Demon is alive!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the comments people Keeps me motivated and i know im on the right track. Did have a good look at engine side of things when the intercooler was sat there and i think it will look ok? I have the race tech inlet manifold shortly on its way so this drops the inlet side of things down to the level of the rocker cover. This means the pipework will go round the rocker cover rather than over it. Think that will be a big factor in how it looks. The engine will sit in the middle with the intercooler pipes running either side of the rocker cover so should look all tied in? If that makes sen

Hi All, I know we have a few members on here from Wales so thought i would post this random question up Im off to Carmarthen for a week with the girlfriend, just to get away for a week or so. We are staying in a cabin type thing and just to chill out for a bit. Is there anything worth doing/seeing in south Wales? We don't have any plans as of yet and we where going to just see how it goes but thought people might be able to reccomend some places? Obviously i can't do anything too crazy with me still recovering from my heart operation. Thanks All, Jason

Looks MINT!!! Loving the rota's, my bro had the exact same ones on his Glanza. As said you need to clean/paint the rocker cover and i would cut the top radiator hose down slightly as well as it looks like its kinking on the first bend, or is that just me???

Turnkeys are usually a few thousand more in my experience, but you know its all done and to their standards as well. The cheapest option will be a part built, problem is though you never know how someone has put it together and you may have to check/redo some of the work. I bought the Demon as a part built, was stupidly cheap but when i got it trailered back it was clear that it was built like shit. Needless to say i have taken it right back to chassis, so basically started again. I wouldn't like to think how much money and time i have spent on it now!

^^^ Think that man has it I have been thinking about selling my Lexus now for a while and getting a MK1 as thats the only model i like, however you have seriously changed my mind now on the MK2. That is probably the nicest MK2 i have seen, just looks so slick!!!!!!! Keep up the good work dude, this car is mint!!!!!!! Jason

Try and find a part built Mark. You will find that most people don't have time to spend 450+ hours building a kit car. They buy the kit with the best intentions and then never finish it, so you may find one that is almost there??? Jason

Or buying a run down one and butchering it to make a Demon You got that fuel pump in there yet Steve? Don't forget you have that! Jason

Thought that may be the case, insurance would be a bit also as it would be the ONLY road legal one!
