  5. I know im going to regreat this but here goes.................. I laughed so much i almost pissed myself
  6. Well today i got a little more done! I will see this thing built if it kills me, but it will more than likely be the first test drive that will do that Anyway, I have spent the day sat in front of my computer working away at AutoCAD. I now have the rear light clusters drawn up to the correct size and shape and i will be emailing them off tomorrow to be laser cut out of steel and hopefully should have them before im next up working on the buggy. I also have the drawing and measurements done for the harness bar and i already have the material and have made the weld in inserts. So tomorrow i will be going to work early to begin making the bar. Might not get it done tomorrow but should get most of it made up. I have then spent the remainder of the day, and a few more hours yet working on the Glanza Stainless Steel dial conversion. Its not workingon the buggy directly but it does help. If i can get these on the market then it may mean a little more £ that can be spent on parts for the Demon. Its just hard trying to find the time to get motivated to work on the dials as its not directly working on the buggy and when i have all these other parts here i get easily side tracked Anyway, not much of an update i know but it all helps Jason
  7. Would be good to see something different but it can get expensive. At the end of the day it will come down to what you want to spend and how long you want it to take. You know me, i like weird things
  8. Glad you like it mate I have had a look at some pics of Brum and i don't think it will work out anyway
  9. Im really glad you like them mate thanks again!
  10. Ok i will update it now! LOL Maybe i should make the bodywork look like Brum???? people will be thinking it will be slow then
  11. Make a buggy with a 4efte! You know it makes sense
  12. Some one else i know said it looked like Brum as well. was not happy so i slapped the bitch! Don't like her anyway Have had a few people say that now, maybe Brum on steroids!?!?!? It will be ok when i get a nosecone made up i guess and i have been thinking about changing the front lights anyway but i don't know what too? Im pretty much restricted to what i can put on the front so not too sure what to do??? And yes im fully motivated now, it was good to have a full day at it yesterday and actually achieve something. Really made a difference and i really can't wait to get this moved further along. Im currently just finishing up the cad work for the rear light clusters and i will be sending them off on monday to be made up. Jason
  13. bet he had alot of time to get a good time though
  14. yes, from what i understand he is a pretty dam good driver
  15. As long as they are in the correct place they should be ok. and im sure you will still be able to hear the engine
  16. American Race car driver. Think he has his own website as well. I got told by the Maclaren F1 team that was him!
  17. Exactly what i was going to say, just couldn't be arsed Don't know who the stig is now but i know it was Ben Collins for a while, not too sure if it still is???
  18. oh yes
  19. Haven't got any for N/A's the problem is that the needles are funny shapes and it won't fit over them
  20. Yep GPS will be more accurate. Speedo's have to read over by law i believe. I have a Scangauge II unit in my car which gives the actually speed from the ECU. When im doing 70mph on the spedo the unit reads 63mph so if your mate is doing 125 its probably more the 112mph mark.
  21. Yes should be a bit of fun Some camera systems are so expensive but i think i may have found a way of doing it alot cheaper and easier. There is a device that records straght onto a external hard drive. Good little piece of kit, you can plug it into a TV,camera, pc etc and press one buttom and it records the input straight onto the hard drive. And it can be unclipped from the car and taken in the house so it don't get nicked
  22. Click on the link in my sig for fitting instructions. Relatively easy to fit to be honest and nobody has had any problems fitting them yet
  23. They are stainless steel not coloured Only for Lexus IS200 and EP82 at current but more are coming Jason
  24. Did they actually say who the current one was then????
