im sure i've seen that same car, never seen it boost though :harhar:
-
15" by 8" et35 i think cannot lower my car further due to these ace wheels though i have spacers aswell which means they stick out of the arches, hence any lower if it bottoms out it would scar the tyres
-
yeah there rota rb's, have subtle stretch on the tyres aswell
-
can't really tell at the minute, havent had a chance to boost, just drove it home from garage today, snow is a nightmare, will let you know once weather clears up!

About time i started a topic seeing as i've owned the car for a year,P reg, 110000km's bought it from WRC sales in bradford this time last year, have heard some good and some bad reviews, thought i'd decide for myself, checked the car over and it hasn't had any problems really. here's some pictures as it was when i bought the car pretty much standard, apart from; livesports front bumper, sideskirts, and rear lip, cat back exhaust, 17" alloys which were smart but far too big and did not suit the car, in my opinion took it to crail got it on the rollers as soon as possible, it made 133.5 at the fly, i was very happy with that result When i got back from crail, found myself a nice set of "JDM" rims white 14" wedsports from my friends V and stripped the interior fully, no doorcards/rooflining/backseats/carpet all plastiv trim asides from the dash After treating myself to these rims and tyres i decided that to compliment them it had to be slammed, so i got a set of BC racing coilovers which are fantastic the cars stance was now mean as anything as the bumper was so low and it had a few cracks these worsened with use as obviously ruining it going over speedbumps was inevitable in october during massive floods i drove through a puddle at about 25mph as i did slow down, knowing it would be a bad one and the kit completely burst, i was very frustrated as i had just bought a new set of wheels and had just spent most of my months pay on them and a few other perfomance bits and pieces, so had none to buy a bumper cable ties saved my bumper and made it last a few more months whilst i found a bumper, i got a standard bumper with an oem splitter 2nd hand which had a few scuffs and some mismatch primer/paint, but a good deal all the same, over the winter i kept the livesports kit on and it got progressively worse Drivers side seat has been swapped for a Bride fixed bucket out of a friends jdm ITR pics soon finally intercooler and exhaust parts arrived, intercooler to ages, coming from china, bumper has been cut and im away to pick the car up from the garage as all new parts have all just been fitted, new mods include Hdi front mounted intercooler j performance manifold and decat custom straight system airfilter relocated to front bumper cheapy bov will update with more pictures soon Duncan_Glanza

my car totally standard rr'd in march was 133.5 at fly, pretty chuffed current mods being fitted in next few weeks include hdi front mount, air filter relocater, mani, decat and custom straight pipe, will hopefully getting rr'd after fcd, fuel pump, actuator and emanage. next few months for that, will let you know depends on quality of the car standard before you've modified it as to where you're expecting it to be.

Yokohama S drives

Really depends on what you want, if you want to be the first owner in the UK your going to have to pay more. If your not to fussed about the quality of it just pick up one and do your best with it. just remember you pay for what you get

Anybody had experiences with one on a V? my mate has one on his JDM teg and sounds immense Turbo lag was invented to give VTEC's a chance to catch up ;) I've seen the youtube video of the monstermotorsport V, anybody made a custom system, perhaps just buddy club through section? looking at a bunch of options, but mainly looking for an excellent note that is horifically loud, and provides plenty power for your pennies, i have a manifold and de-cat waiting to be fitted, when weather clears up, only has a aftermarket backbox, that was on the car from japland, rest of the exhaust is standard. Any advice welcome Cheers Duncan

matt black bonnet? for those who cannot afford CF a few coats of matt black paint from B&Q will do the trick!!

Regulations On Exhausts And Plates?
Duncan_Glanza replied to Duncan_Glanza's topic in Lifestyle General
thanks, yeah, the police have asked me to have the car emissions tested and stamped, as they suspect it will fail? it does pass, just need to book it in again just curious as to if i get any more bother, can't really be bothered to get it emissions tested AGAIN as it was done for MOT in july, will try find leg and just go past the police station and explain it, see what they say. they pulled me and basically tried to pick apart the car, brand new tyres shocked them, just one of those things cheers for that! -
Got pulled over the other day, the car was given a once over, as you'd expect, immediate response is that front plate's characters are too small, however have been pulled many times before, never been an issue second fault is apparently exhaust looks like it is blowing? passed its MOT in july, still has standard mani, cat and silencer, have a new mani/decat sitting in my house, thankfully not fitted yet i have been told that it is legal to have smaller plates on the front of import cars, is there legislation to back this up? and if so where? also have been told that imports can't be emmissions tested as there is no set data value? is this balls? before replying, note, i wasnt speeding or doing anything ridiculous, just a spot check any reply's welcome, really can't be assed going through the bother of getting it all check out, don't have a lot of spare time at the moment

i've had a set for a fair while now, highly reccomend them!
