  6. na i think they done a map to 1.4 or wherever boost cut is just cause id rather have injectors running at 50% than 96& or something and the power fc can run them fine
  7. na it was only just incase it ever runs to much boost it wont run lean cause the power fc has a boost cut at 1.3/1.4 bar set on it so its like a saftey thing im running it round at 1bar atm

  9. my cars been mapped to 1.5 just incase of it running high boost its got 550cc injectors all mapped fine what i mean is that have short blasts its driven slow most of the time i really dont rag it and i know the ct9s get hot thats why i just accelerate never do much over 80mph i was more worried that the pistons wouldnt take it thanks ant i just poured loads of moneys into the car with making the exhaust semi legal and insurance defo no td04 for a long time
  10. my question is recently noticed when i set the gizmo to 1.1 bar it ll boost to 1.4 then quicky cut back to like 1.2, when i change gear and acclerate it does the same again all i was wondering is i know a lot of you guys are running 1.2 bar with td04s on standard engines and being fine do i need to worry about it doing this and like my pistons melting ect? cause the ct9 hybrid will be flowing less air surely?
  11. Sanchez what did you believe the defi or the gizmo cause even if I put it on .59 it boosts to 1.1 on defi and ant it's a lot better but I wouldn't say it's legal by lowies standards

  14. got the car mapped got in it put my foot down gizmo went to 1.2 deffi went to 1.6 i panicked and turned the gizmo to 0.59 which boosts to 1.1 on the deffi, now i spoke the the garage and he said that its mapped off the gizmo and that this is the accurate one and he uses a secondary boost gauge on the rolling road, also the ecu the power fc has a boost cut on it as well so it wont over boost i thought deffis were ment to be one of the most accurate gages so should i believe the deffi or the gizzmo cause god knows i dont wanna be boosting at 1.6bar on standard internals and a ct9 hybrid lol
  15. yeah wired the fan straight to the battery and it still didnt work lol
  16. it didnt even go into the red it was jut off it then i turned it off opened the bonnet and there was the overheated smell let it cool down and its been fine its an expensive job isnt it to change the head gasket?
  17. i panic a lot yeah james at cj has been excellent and is ordering me one up tomorow people have been telling me it weakens the head gasket though
  18. the other day my fan stopped working noticed my car temp was just off the red does this weaken the head gasket? cars all fine still just wanted some advice thanks

  23. anyone "/ its only differences are front mount air filter exhaust a lil more restrictive due to silencer and walbro fuel pump and will need 550cc injectors fitted on too?
