  1. Yep they are the ones. Tasty looking beasts aren't they!!!!! I haven't seen the ink one in a couple of weeks but the blue one is still there. Yeah i know where you mean. I have a friend who works in that Asda. How often are you up here then? If you get a Starlet/Glanza we are going to start a good little Manchester gathering. There was none up here a couple of years ago. Bourkey
  2. Cheers Jules. I really appreciate it. Like i said in your other topic. Preparation is the key to getting the swap done quickly and accurately. Bourkey
  3. Both the EP82 and EP91 front exhaust sections will fit but the EP82 rear section, the back box, will not fit. I've got a Glanza one on mine. There is only one mount that lines up with it. It hangs fine and i don't have any problems with it. Make sure you have everything you need for the swap as you don't want your car to be sat there as your missing something. I had to be driven all over Manchester to find some exhaust bolts on the day i finished it. It wasn'y fun. Let us know how the swap goes bud. Give a shout if you want to know anything. Bourkey
  4. At your service ;) @ CrazyKid - If i find out you have paid him i am not going to be happy. Ask Markoos, i beat people with exhausts and seats. Im breaking up an old engine and i'll happily throw parts at you. Bourkey
  5. Jazz's are mint. There are two fantastic ones in Manchester that i see everyday on the way to work. A blue one and a pink one. I'll get some pics sometime. And i've just noticed your from Manchester. Where abouts bud? Im from The Bury/Whitefield area. Bourkey
  6. ;) i know i know. I want to save £££ though now as im going on holiday, i want more for my car plus i want to move out after summer. Parents are doing my head in!!! Also my work buy the buss pass for me or the Metrolink pass, and i pay them back over the year by them taking the tiny amount for each month out of my pay. So i wont really notice it gone. My promotion will help me a lot but where ever i can save dosh i will. Bourkey
  7. @ Jag - Cheers bud. I've been going to work in my car for the past two days as i am seeing what it is like on petrol plus it gets miles on it so i can run it in. I work about five miles from home in Manchester city centre. It is nice and comfortable in traffic. The turbo barely gets a chance to spool up as Manchester traffic is pretty crap in the morning. I spend pretty much the whole day worrying about my car now so i may buy a buss pass for work and leave the car saftely locked up at home without it's steering wheel on. Now me and public transport just don't go together well. I hate it and
  8. That would be funny. 25 people in the same sort of car going shopping and we all bring a car each. Global warming...whats that??? ;) Bourkey
  9. Blimey that is a small tank. Last time i filled up it was £40+. Cool car though. Bourkey
  10. Not bad buddy!!!! Tis good for the weather we are having at the moment. Im nice and cool in my office but when i step outside it's like stepping on the sun!!!! What's this like on petrol compared to the Levin? Bourkey
  11. It was only a matter of time. A lot of car clubs go there and the good majority of them behave just like a BMW meet that was there when i went last year. But as always you get dicks messing about and this site and TGTT was a victim of it a few months ago if i remember correctly. Plus you get chavs who spot a load of cars park up and think they can show their Corsas off by flying around. There is only so much Bluewater can accept and they have probably had enough now. Someone may have complained or even worse someone may have been injured. The Trafford Centre in Manchester have a pretty str
  12. I was thinking the same thing Rick. I didn't want to sound dumb though as im not really clued up much about Imprezas. Im sure you can run them calmly on them cruising along. Obviously you could blow it by pushing it hard but he was only cruising at 80 mph which is nothing for an Impreza. Anyway the legal advice i gave is what you requested. You shouldn't have to pay a penny and to be honest he isn't really a good mate asking you to splash out that much. Thats a big chunk out of the majority of peoples wages. Bourkey
  13. Hi again, I got a reply from a solicitor at work. To simplify it, He didn't say to you that you are responsible if anything goes wrong he just said can you drive my car from here to there. He could have casued the damage and knowing that asked you to drive it so it broke on you. If you put the wrong fuel in there maybe a slight chance you would pay something but at the end of the day it's his car and his responsibility. If a mate drove my car and he drove over a nail and punctured a tyre i would not expect him to pay. As long as he wasn't aiming for the nail then why should he? hope thi
  14. Chop chop. My 4EFTE conversion in my black SR was up and running in three days man!!!! Only kidding bud. Take as long as you want. As long as when you finally turn the key and it starts first time it will all be worth it. Oh yeah make sure you tighten the screw loads on the fuel pump thingy under the bonnet as I had lots of petrol come out of mine when i turned the key. I laughed afterwards. Bourkey
  15. You RATE A powersaving, energy efficient BULBS!!!!!!! Im not that daft to crash my car. Get with the program people!!! Bourkey
  16. WELL WELL????? Come on chap what is it then? Must be done by now. Bourkey
  17. As much as i'd like to agree something is tells me there was more to it. Im sure you can run it on regurlar unleaded as long as you you aren't putting your foot to the floor all the time. If you were doing 80mph in fifth im sure it would be fine. 80mph in second however is where you may have problems. Anyway i have passed it on to two solicitors at work to get some proper legal advice on it. Bourkey
  18. It appears another weekend of working on you car is needed. Oh well. Im going to make you get some seats. Remember our conversation. You bid... i beat. Bourkey
  19. Looks like it is off to the scrappy in a couple of weeks. Bourkey
  20. I aim to please. Mark your car has changed so much since you got it a month ago!!! Look at the pictures on his car topic if you don't believe me. Yeah i agree with Mark mostly as it's good to have a whole car you have done yourself, however if you find a good one with bits on it that your going to buy anyway then you have found the one for you. Bourkey
  21. @ Jag - thanks for the comment and yes i know it does . As for the lip im still undecided what is should do so im going to get the lip to see what it looks like and then i'll make my mind up. Im loving the attention im getting at the moment. As soon as someone hears the chatter they turn to peek. I was with Mark the other day and a road worker asked what it was. I was bragging of course :D. Bourkey
  22. yeah i have to agree with these two guys on that. On a side note a baby could do it. it will only fit one way its's just like a jigsaw. Bourkey
  23. Im still unsure bud. I may get one to see what it looks like and then i'll make up my mind. Bourkey
  24. Well i've had a few systems to give you some idea. The one that was one my car when i bought it was straight through no cat. It was mega loud and popped, banged and flamed a little. It was a touch too loud for me so i got another standard system with the cat but the middle box out. This was slightly quieter and was a noticable different in speed. It was quicker without the cat. Then i had a system which had the cat removed and the middle box in and that was the best in my opinion. It wasn't too loud and was the quickest out of the lot. I now have the smae backbox on my car but on the Glanza
  25. @ Idrees - Nice one bud. I'll come up next weekend or the weekend after. Im on a tight schedule at the moment as i've just been promoted at work so i don't have much free time in the next two weeks. I'll let you know when im coming up bud. @ Enzo - Yes i crave the boost all the time. After it kicks in i have to change gear at the moment as im still running it in. I've only done about 50 miles in it. I only really got to drive it in the last two days as the exhaust wasn't sorted. Sorry i haven't got any pictures of the loom itself as it was already installed on the engine when i got it. Now
