there is no way that the hub bracket could have been bent like that without some moron crashing their car with those suspension components on it at that time. U ARE THAT MORON and at the same time posting up that you want a new hub........ do you need a new bumper and a rim aswell ??? stop being dishonest and give the kid his money back - if it was me i would have just called the police because at the end of the day its fraud by false representation and that is a criminal offence. END OF -
yer i am hoping by changing the injectors that it sorts it - i think that these could just be tired so we will have to see how it goes, if not i may have to upgrade the fuel and ignition system a little - but i am sure it will be worth it for an extra 50 wheel horsepower how does it idle and what does it drive like on the down run of revs ? acis inlets are sweet i think its just a matter of finding someone who knows how to link it up with the ecu etc but it should give you some decent gains

yer man its all the little niggly things that take the longest to sort !! where did you go to get it base tuned what kind of wideband did they use ?? when you get it up and running at 1.5 bar in 2nd gear with 4 wheel drive it will shift like fuck mine shifts at 1 bar with fwd its amazing !! And cheers Craigy Boy :P

cheers dude wel i don't think that its 550cc's aren't enough i just think that its MY 550's that aren't quite up 2 it i have had them sat at mine for at least a year and god knows how long they'd bin out of action before that - and they ain't even SARD ones just stock rx7 so i'm guessing that they might be a bit old n past it lol (just like john if your reading dude love you) yer the boost leaks are a real killer check out the difference in these two graphs before and after the boost leaks, one at 16.9 psi with a boost leak and then one at 20 psi without a boost leak, you can clearly see how the boost comes in a lot earlier with a lot more force - the leaks will not have given your figure any good either !! i cant believe i had to turn it back down it would be completely savage with another 30 whp lol and then again if it was another 50 its gunna be mental. i cant wait to see beans graph either REPRESENTING.... IHI lolololol

right then i havent been on here in the past few days but i have been messing with the car obviously lol, last thursday i had the car all built up and ready to go so i took it down to RDT (rdt.tv) as i had met the guy that runs and seen some of his previous projects and was very impressed. we started off with a pre dyno inspection where we found that there was a big leak from the radiator - this was found using water system pressure testing equipment so that was the first issue that we had to sort: after that we made sure all levels were up to scratch and ran it up to temp to make sure the fan was working etc - the work then began connecting up all the sensors, 2 wide bands, knock sensor, map sensor and the connecting the 2 computers up and eveything like that, the dyno that was used here was a dynapack hub dyno and as soon as it started whirring and the power was starting to be delivered i could see why they are so much better than regular "rolling roads" it eliminates any kind of wheel spin or owt like that will mapped it up to 17 psi and it made 206 wheel horsepower which is about 243 bhp which aint bad so we had a midpoint inspection to make sure all was sound involving the use of a snap on fibreoptic camera, we looked at the pistons and bores to make sure they looked good and they did, then we had a look inside the BOV where we found that the rubber piston seal had blown its self out - so we held the mapping there at that point as we didnt know how much the leak was over stressing the turbo...... so i went back down on friday just gone with a diffrent bov which i borrowed off quadcorecraig the boyo - cheers dude so that sorted me out as we started upping the boost on this occasion we got to around 19/20 psi the fueling form 6500 rpm upwards just ended up way way too lean as if it wasnt fueling at all and it also developd a mis fire around 5550 rpm which is where the max torque and boost curve was, despite this it still peaked power wise at 229.5 wheel hp which is calculated to about 273 bhp - the engine horsepower figure is only calculated and im sure it would get a different read out if it were to be on a rolling road dyno. anyway because of the above problem which we suspect either to be that the ignition system is too weak to ignite the fuel at that pressure or down to the injectors that could be worn out as there supposed to be 550cc but we dont know for sure so they are gunna be upgraded when i get back from holiday so its been tuned back down to 17 psi for the time being at 206 wheelhorsepower which feels fast as fook and it drives so smoothly its amazing !! any way heres a few piks and a dyno vid for you boys hope you like it ^^^^Video^^^^

well done for getting it going at least dude, but 180 at 1.4 bar even at the wheels dont sound right at all but as you say it must be down to the settings on the hks, thats all it can be, the front exits usuall result in a slight lack of torque , but depending on how restrictive it is it could have a detremental effect on the way the engine operates giving you those low figures, if your going to get it mapped next week then i would stick it down to a bar on the controller just so that its safe, but bearing all in mind its driveable and thats progress !!
