does the car still run right ? 2 things that i would check are the tensioner and also the cam pully, drop the bottom cover aswell and make sure nothing is rubbing/ stuck further down, it means you' have to take off the fan belts and pulley but you need to sort it because it dont sound good :s

diamiter obviously so itt fits and id say a 1mm washer would do the trick fine - thats wot i used and my oil was always every where round the engine

gearbox internals are a pain if you don't know wot you are doing then get a pro to do it,
