  1. Titled: Quality of Leads Dear Sirs, I have recentley purchased a set of your racing ignition leads for an ep91 toyota starlet turbo (clip type) 8.5mm I have fitted these leads one time to my vehicle. I removed the king lead from my car to test on a 2nd vehicle to make sure the 2nd vehicle was working correctly. On removing the lead from the 2nd vehicle the pin which goes into the coil pack broke out of the silokene lead. I attempted to put the lead back together and re-fit it to the 1st car - after i did this the car was badly misfiring (it was perfectly fine before hand) A
  2. the down pipe has now been made up 90% and the intercooler pipes have been sorted, just waiting on the joiners which im gunna order tomorrow and then get it all built up yay the rad doesnt have any brackets yet either this was just a picture to show the thicknes and quality of the stainless thats being used on it and one of both my V's
  3. well it mostly helps to lower spool on bigger tubo's lol i know they do need a good wash anyway ittl be sound
  4. undo the bottom ball joint - 2 bolts and a nut at each side, then seperate where they sit. then knock the shafts out of the box with something, using the lip on the green bulky part of the shaft - get someone to pull the wheels away from the car while you manoeuvre the shafts out - easy as that you don't even need another person just makes it easier
  5. cheers dude im just a bit unsure of when it rains with them vents lol cheers dude i have some mint plans for it hopefully getting all the pipes and downpipe sorted on tuesday then i can book in for a map i bloody well hope so it will be awesome i loved it last year haha yer man the smilies are good n here i know where i can borrow a 96 spec standard front bumper too so i might run it like that for a while before i get my body bits on it - just for the laugh nowt like a 300hp car that looks like its had nothing done to it lolol

  8. Well this is the point that everyone realises - even the best of us make mistakes lol
  9. yer well thats the thing the car has probli only run for about 1 minute total time with the pipe like that so i dont think it could have caused any issues ;)
  10. just swapped the vac pipes round i did have one on the wrong way so i will admit to that lol ;) seems to be running ok at the minute so we shall see what happens just need to tighten the oil fed as a tiny bit is seeping and also bleed the clutch and tidy it up and it should be good to go ;) yay
  11. is yours nearly ready then ? when do you plan on having it dynoed ? what kind of management are you going to be running ? sorry for all the questions but i am keen to know a definitive answer of power figures on similar setups ;)
  12. awesome it looks so similar to mine dude me and you are gunna have to get a photoshoot organised wen ther both complete 1 black 1 white over 300hp each haha ittl be mint !!!
  13. steve from the look of the list you have posted is it from sm-engines or somthing like that ??
  14. it wouldnt create enough of a vacuum to flatten the rad pipe tho i have done that before lo i will double check it just to be sure but im 99% sure thats not the issue
  15. looking good dude - im having a 3" downpipe done aswell and it is tight as balls lol
  16. good work mate ! only thing i would do different is swap the hotside pipe to a non over the manifold kind
  17. point is though he bought an engine described as good condition for £450 quid which has already had £200 worth of work done on it but still needs about another £200 spending on it to make it right ! so thats £850 for an engine that might not even work still
  18. he engine was literally dropped into the car as it was brought to me - not a bolt removed from it. firstly the cam belt had slipped about an inch and was propper slack the thing now is that we have the car electrics sorted so that it runs but the problem is that when the engine is running it throws mostly water and a bit of oil out of the exhaust ports and also the rad pipes are being sucked so they are flat, usually the pressure is opposite of that with the water/coolant spitting at you - so to have it doing the complete opposite and sucking water from the coolant system and blowing it out
