my mate wants a toyosports fmic as hes skint, he has a ep91 with a td04 we have just fitted , has anybody fitted the toyosports fmic to a td04 on a glanza, does it fit ok without the pipes hanging below the bumper, he has the optional extra front splitter which may hide it if it does. and does the bumper need trimmed ans stuff ect?

dont break it mate. to many people do this and it is just a waste of a good car and the car should of been left in japan. people that break them that do not finish or are a little disheartened about something go wrong are in the wrong game like. this is what modding is all about taking ruff with the smooth. cars are money pits i no big style as most of the peeps on here do. but to spend all the time and money and not even get it running write and break it is just criminal. HAVE A GOOD THINK MATE 800 is not much even if it takes you 6month to save the doolar peeps will respect you more than just giving up on it so early.

i have a vf 28 on mine mate very similar to the vf24 will push 1.4bar and make about 320 to 350bhp depending on mods, but if you want something responsive this is the wrong turbo stick with the td04 the vf 24 is of a similar size to td05 20g

as above peeps. my crank case oil seal has gone on the cam belt side. the engine is still fine but has a bit of a bad leak. did not help going from 7500revs in 3rd back in to second this is what caused it. just curious as to how hard and long of a job it is. i am going to do it my self as i am quiet good when it comes to this sort of stuff. just need to no how long and roughly what is involved as i am renting some lift time

dont go changing the vf24 remember your gear ratios are well lower than in the v. so when that 24 comes on boost it will be one of them terminator moments. (SEE YOU LATER BABY)

mine held 1.1bar with no creep at all mate on internal wastegate

totally awsome. you must have almost bought 3 brand new gts now. that flood was nasty and was sorry to hear about it. but your car mate is wicked hopefully that bad look has gone. love this car been watching it for ages

really hope you get it sorted mate cars were sent to this planet to test us am sure they were. wish i could of made japfest but broke mine last weekend huge huge oil leak out of cam belt side some were. so i have fell out with it for a month or so and i will get stuck back in. how is your turbo making its boost really late or half way on revs.

the tdo4 is better if you dont have a custom inlet that works but the vf with a custom inlet wins hands down. i am running just under 1.1 bar and making my power

well aint posted much on here for ages but have been to a drag meet cauld straight liners it aint a preped strip but has all the decent timing equipment.

i was well nervous at first as it was the cars first time and my first time. but here are the runs in order of how i done them.

1st run 14.64s trminal 98mph totally missed the light and all sorts on this one lol.

2nd run 14.09s

3rd run 13.97s

4th run 14.46s bad this one went from third gear back in to second woops

5th run 14.12s

6th run 13.92s

7th run 13.90s

8th run 13.57s terminal speed 108mph

9th run 13.74s

10th run 13.77s

11th run 13.79s started to rain so went down hill and boy did it start raining

12th run 13.92s

13th run 14.13s

14th run 15.71s spinning almost the full strip lol

15th run 15.65s

16th run 15.97s ha ha still a terminal speed of 108mph

17th run 15.10

18th run 15.62s

19th run 14.97s

20th run 14.75s

and gave up after this as it was just a waste of time it was a waste of time after run 11 really but was good fun. over all i came second in my class. it was a big power scooby that wone my class. was only .2 of a second slower than a 440bhp evo thing that was killing me was i could get no grip but maybe have another go tomorrow.
