I've been looking at a silver one, 2000 plate with 18'' msport wheels, Bloody lovely. My only concern is i'm only 20 yrs and although the insurance is slightly cheaper than the starlet, The slow bmw will cost twice as much on tyres,fuel,tax,repairs than my quick starlet! I have a Full wheel refurb on credit at a garage, i think i'll get the starlet wheels done and see if that gives me a change of heart. Been looking at these a lot lately and its definitely a potential next car. Just wondered if anyone has 1 or has owned one and could give some feedback. I already know there slow and will feel snail speed compared to my glanza, but the comfort/class side of things would outweigh it. So any advice would be lovely =] Thanks starlet'ers

Yea, sparky meant that with standard engine (non forged) with all the supporting mods like, cooler/exhaust/filter/ecu etc, plus increasing the boost on the turbo. then 180atw is achievable =]

I've not played with the Starlet wiring much, but i have installed plenty of stereo's/speakers in my past cars. The speaker wiring normally goes into one of the ISO blocks that connect into the back of the headunit, (purple,purple + white, Orange, blue) etc. More wires depending on how many 'standard' speakers are there! I'm assuming you've whipped the front speaker grills off and had a rummage around there? Whip the headunit out, Check The Black ISO blocks for any snipped wires mate!
