  1. Cheeky t t I have 3 gearsticks with cables, why do you need one?
  2. Cheers Philius, am aiming to get the engine out the front cut as soon as I can and then I'll get the scrap man to come and collect whats left So keep your eyes peeled Nath
  3. This project just makes me smile Looking good dude
  4. There will be nothing left of the orginal dash, the dash bar will go. Not sure whether I will get a carbon fibre dash manufactured, or just make something out of alloy. I will be using a Stack dash display unit, as for the heater I will be ditching the starlet one and getting something smaller, simpler and lighter but still utilising a heater matrix.
  5. Well I set out to remove the dash tonight..... Which I have :harhar: Here's a few more pictures
  6. I'd rather not do it that way mate :harhar: Anyway here is a couple of pics for you Is this what you were looking for?
  7. Its fraught with danger, looks like you'll have to stop over at mine We could potentially remove everything, transfer it all across and then it does not work. But I have no problem with you coming up to mine, its just something you'll have to bear in mind :harhar:
  8. Well I'm gonna start stripping the dash tonight so I'll have a look. Yes you can mate for a reasonable sum :harhar: Gonna replace the heater box with something alot smaller
  9. Unfortunately mate my loom is damage, where the wires come up for the mirrors some t :harhar: t chopped them off. So would need fixing, but I assume you'll need the loom for the engine bay as there will be additional wiring for powering the electrics that operate the flow flap
  10. Si are you having a blond moment? I have removed my looms from the front cut which is a 98 spec V, yes it has climate control with switches rather than cables to adjust where the air flow goes to
  11. Its a 98/99 spec loom mate, I still need both floor looms as yet The one that goes along the drivers side and the one that comes down the middle, so anyone who knows where there is a 98 spec that I can get those bits off I'd be well appreciative :harhar:
  12. Yes thats right Toby, I'm slimming down the wiring looms, No A/C, no radio, no ABS and maybe no heaters Anyway I have managed to do what I set out to do this evening, the engine bay loom and fusebox is out and also the engine loom is out. An box full of wiring looms Tomorrows task: dismantle the dash :harhar:
  13. Well a quick update for tonight, I'm adding some more labels to the wiring looms, all the connectors are removed from the engine :harhar: I've pulled out the loom that comes out of the passenger side into the engine bay. I've just broken for some tea, but my plan is to remove the loom that comes out of the drivers side into the engine bay and pull the engine loom through the bulkhead tonight Anyway I'll get back to it
  14. Get yourself over to Grannies and get that parcel ripped open :harhar:
  15. There is a relay on the loom within the bootlid, not sure whether this is the right one you're look for but its worth a try Nath :harhar:
  16. Well if you didn't go on your fancy pants skiing trip you'd be able to afford one :harhar:
  17. The only problem with a bigger garage is you fill it with more stuff!!! Once the car is done I should have plenty of room
  18. Bourkey, You still interested in a carbon fibre N/A bonnet? I have been asked to start a group buy, so if you're interested put you name down Car looks well dude
  19. Don't be such a girl, treat em mean keep em keen Anyway about your good news - good times brother
  20. Cheers Jozman, Hopefully things will get moving, I'll get the looms off and modified. Take everything off and put to one side that I'm keeping and then I can transfer the engine onto a small pallet.
  21. Right here is todays update: As there is some parts of the engine loom that are not easily accessable from the top, so I decided it was time to finally remove the front cut off its pallet that it arrived on 4 years ago. But first I had to shift lots of stuff out of the garage, its amazing how much stuff can accumilate in your garage when you move from a single to a double one!! Anyway after some jigging back and forward with the pallet truck I got it into a position where I could use the engine crane to lift the front cut up as a whole. So with a few straps I had I rigged up the front cu
  22. They are on their way boy, but where are you? Skiing in France that where!!!
  23. Tell me about it, it feels like every time I start to get something done on the car something comes up to stop me working on it for a while!! Anyway I'm looking forward to getting those last 2 members on my group buy and then get the Glanza S carbon fibre bonnets in manufacture
  24. Well had some free time today so I thought I would roll the car out, clear some room in the garage and uncover the front cut. To make sure everything was o.k. To start marking all plugs up to aid refitting in my shell & so I can remove redundant wiring to save weight Anyway here are some pics for you all. Car rolled out My Front cut
  25. Alright T, I'm interested in the Greddy oil cooler with relocation bits, PM me a price please Cheers Nath
