  1. Nice looking V dude, Fancy joining the Carbon Fibre Glanza S bonnet group buy? Your car would look the nuts with a Carbon bonnet as well
  2. Nice looking V ben Fancy adding a carbon fibre Glanza S bonnet to it? Nath ;)
  3. Cheers Philip, Spent my time today tidying up my garage and stripped down my spare doors. Maybe take out the engine from the front cut next weekend
  4. Well had the day off today so done a few bits and pieces on the front cut I finished off stripping the passenger side hub However it wasn't straight forward, after spending ages trying to split the driveshaft from the front hub. So I ended up spliting the driveshaft and leaving one end in the gearbox Split hubs from lower arms and dropped them off Then repeated on the drivers side All removed parts
  5. Alright Peeps, I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread about available colour codes for the Starlet. So post your colour code with a picture of your car Here are some of the one I know 205 Satin Black Metallic - My favourite of course 040 Super White 3E5 Super Red
  6. Well had about 10 minutes on the front cut tonight Removed the driveshaft nut on the passenger side, then removed the caliper and bracket. Anybody fancy these Glanza calipers? Got the day off tomorrow so maybe I'll get quite a bit done
  7. Well done mate really pleased for you A bit more JDM goodness and a rare one at that :harhar: Looks like you'll be boosted well before me Oh well
  8. Thanks Ben Fancy jumping in on my Carbon fibre Glanza S bonnet group buy? Only need 2 more people and then I can place the order
  9. Well it's gotta Go Well Handle Well But most of all Stop Well Some people might think its a bit extreme, but I think it'll be worth it
  10. I have bought my ross pistons and pauter rods from Sam, I cannot say a bad word about him. As Joz said he had excellent comms and response time, but with current exchange rate its not worth buying from the US at the minute
  11. Just a quick update.. After speaking to a guy from Competition Supplies at the Autosport International Show in early January I have decided to fit a Tilton Pedal box. Unfortunately the pedal box has only just come out and hasn't reached our shores yet. But I already have my order in and it should be here in early April ready for the shell going for it's cage. Anyway here is the catalogue, the pedal box I'm getting is on pages 2 & 3
  12. Watch what you're saying Lewis We have a Westie and he is a lovely dog and as people have mentioned they were raised to be hunters Kara, Your dog didn't do anything wrong sweetheart, if the other women's Westie hadn't snapped at your dog it would never had happened. If that situation had happened to us we would have picked our dog up and that would have been the end of it!! As you say you don't put your hand between 2 scrapping dogs ;)
  13. What he said^^^^^^^^, would be nice to see you and your car. because you know where I live, but I'm not sure exactly where you are Anyway, get your self over here at some point as it would be nice to have a hand to get my project finished!!
  14. Well we've been in this house for nearly two years now and things still haven't settled down yet. Hopefully we'll get settled in the next 12 months
  15. Bourkey, I feel for you buddy, but houses are the reason my car is not finished yet(well and a wedding and stuff). It'll get better though matey Start saving your pennies now and you can buy one
  16. There will be if I have anything to do with it
  17. Bourkey give yourself a slap and to quote Rick... Fake Carbon = FAIL
  18. Well here's tonights update I have removed the heater matrix Then I removed the brake and clutch pedals Only the steering column and the gearstick to remove and the interior side is finished Started to take apart the front hub assembly, but as it hasn't got a damper attached to it I was fighting a losing battle. So I've given up for tonight, I'll fit a spare damper I have in the garage tomorrow and I can get the drive shaft nut off then I'll take the lower arm off
  19. As do I matey, I have a UK spec SR one and one on the new Glanza S bootlid which you can have no problem
  20. Even if it was just a little bit, I still got something done. I'm a step closer to getting the engine out
  21. Not much of an update tonight I have removed the dash loom off the dash as seen in the first picture from last nights pictures, also started to take all the nuts off that hold the heater matrix in place. Tomorrow night I will take out the heater matrix, remove the steering column and that'll be about it for the interior side of the front cut. I'll then take the ARB, hubs and the lower arms off then the last thing to remove will be drain the gearbox and remove the drive shafts and then I'll be ready to remove the engine fom the front cut My offer of help still hasn't arrived yet, in the me
  22. Si, I would contact Trading Standards, I can't remember what the time scales are(I think if it hasn't arrived in 7 to 14 days) At a minimum you can ask their advice or you could get them involved and resolve this issue. As for where else to get it, there are plenty of places on the internet that sell metal. Just do a search
