thanks for the back up scutch. shoddy workman always blame there tools!!! above is proof it can be done perfectly.
-
universal exhausts are not always poo i will have you know. mine is universal and if you have someone with a bit of skill fitting it its fine. mine is straight not wonkey or hanging like a donkey nob. my cousin fitted mine and has done it spot on. so you cant really say universal exhausts are poo, just call the people trying to fit them poo. it can be done and done well.

thanks. im still a learner at photoshop as i only had it for a 30 day trail, so some of my lines are a bit dodgy and also colour matching is hard. i have got another 30 day trail now so im gonna get some practice in. then i may be able to match the work of the peoples chops before me!
-
i know im very very late but just got photoshop back and thought i would do a quick one. what you think? good work every one else, some class work.
-
i like it. it will be lots better with the glanza vent instead of that pulser one.
-
it was difficult to get a glanza one to fit, so i made you normal bonnet the carbon colour. gives you an idea.
-
i like them both really. i know there not the best chops but you get the idea. the only thing i think is that the jun one may look too much if theres no side skirts. but there both pretty cool. tough choice
-
its a hard colour to match. i fixed your panel but i dont claim to be a repair man! im just enjoying having photoshop back!
-
il see if i can do the other one for you. colour match is not great and its a little wonkey but you get the idea.
-
heres one for you mate. finally got photoshop back so i had a go. i like it.
-
thanks. i didnt think it would be 7bhp. but it would be nice if it is. any improvement is a good one!
-
i think its from the injectors. must be a normal noise on starlets. just ruins the tick over sound. makes it sound like its a jolopy.
-
i was just about to ask you if there was an improvement on your n/a....... then i remembered its not n/a. where abouts did you source shorter belt? and did the pulleys need balancing? thanks.
-
cheers mate. was just gonna do mine silver again as im not talanted with a spray can! if its been laquered it could be cleaned when its grubby. i cleaned mine and just took lots of paint off. but like i say im bob at spraying so i prob did a poor job! i'll look at out for pics of it when you have it fitted mate.
-
that really does look class mate. i got a question though. i did mine a while ago and now it looks really tatty, i used high heat paint but didnt laquer it as i didnt know if it was ok to do so. im gonna do it again soon but want it too last a bit longer. can it be laquered? thats gonna look so good on the nanglewagon.

after more research i think dave burwash does both for £95. says on there 7bhp ish. like i have said before im not trying to make my n/a a rocket, as it would be pointless without the turbo, or quad tbs. but i would like to make a nice improvement on standard. and i need to buy something new to feed my addiction! just want to know about fitting.
-
just wanted to know how easy this would be to fit? also will the benifits be worth the hassle? pulley thanks, keiran

i really like the black with chrome lip. i knows its been done loads but i gotta say it looks sweet on your car. as for the orange lip, that was my plan for when i buy a silver glanza and it does look good as well. its too hard to decide mate.

im getting lowering springs...for the meantime
keirz replied to Tommy_G's topic in Chassis & Suspension
i have had 40mm pi springs on standard shocks for about a year now. its not bad, and my shocks have lasted fine. touch wood. -
i thought my idea of orange would be laughed at! gonna have to say, after seeing the photoshop, i think it looks cool as fook.
-
i honestly dont know what engine corolla it is off, im sure someone else will let you know. i brought mine off a member on here so didnt go searching myself for it. im sure there will be someone with a spare one knocking about on here. keep an eye on the for sale section or post up a wanted post. Geo had one for sale, dont know if he still has it though.
-
no problem mate. the inlet mani i have is off the bug eyed corrola, not sure on the model but if you do a search on here you will find it. well worth the money in my opinion. i just have my exhaust mani wrapped with thermo tec to hide the manky one behind it! would like a 4-2-1 stianless steel jobby but theres not one for the n/a.
-
not being an arse tommy but dont you find that stuff a bit fake? each to there own but im a big hip hop follower and i hate that stuff as its just pointless lyrics. but if you like it its cool, but try some other artists like akir, aasim, immortal technique and listen to the lyrics.
-
i dont think there is an exhaust mani avialable mate. i think a corolla one may fit with some modding. as for inlet mani, the one off the bug eyed corolla will fit straight on easy with no mods. to be honest is does make a big difference. gives a much cleaner pull right to the limiter. less flat spots, unleases an awsome noise also. its a must have in my opinion. should set you back about £60, unless you source one from a scrappy. the inlet mani, with a free flowing filter and exhaust will make for a much better n/a, still not a rocket but is much more pleasing on the right foot. k

i personally, prob just me! but i would go tango orange. it would look cool as hell with the orange front lenses. someone will prob post a more sensible option for you, but i think it would be cool as hell.
