i was worried about using white spirit because i didnt know if the fumes would effect the engine. (me being dumb i bet) gonna clean it tonight, spray it tomorrow and fit it fri or sat.

i really doubt you will get insured mate. try a few companies before you set your heart on one. when i passed i tried to get insured on a 1.5 civic. £3500 tp. a turbo starlet is gonna be more.

you use the current throttle body so it attachs the same way. just need to know if the fuel rail has to be moved?

what is the reason for moving the fuel rail. i cant see a need to move it. is it just for better access to the bolts? thanks

thanks alot to luke for sorting me out with the mani, and joz for helping it along. mani looks in very good condition, i have noticed there is some oil inside (as expected) should i clean it out, if so how would i do that and what with? i was gonna soak it in water for a few hours. any other things i should know before fitting please let me know. thanks in advance, keirz

would it be worth getting bigger fuel injectors for my n/a. i was just wondering because there will be an increase in air due to the new inlet mani so with more fuel added through bigger injectors it could be benificial. or would it be pointless? i know it aint never be a rocket but i want it to run as good as it can. anyone know? keirz

thanks for all the comments people. they are just hose covers but i think they still look kinda cool. i have got some thermotec heat reflective wrap so may cover the mani in that. prob wont do a great deal in lowering intake temps but every little helps. will look ok i think if i do a good job of wraping it. tried to do my current one but it was a pain in the arse to do without inlet mani off. progress is slow now cuz im trying to save money but i still have a few more plans.

looking at buying a new camera but dont know much about them. dont want to spend too much about £150 most. mainly want it just for car pics so dont want to spend too much. any recomendations? also what mega pixel should i go for, mine at the min is 3.2 and its pretty poor.

had a good polish and a bit more green under the bonnet. need a better camera cuz they arent the best pics. let me know what you think. mani should be on soon. dont know if i should do that green aswell of polish it up.

this could be really stupid but is it something rolling around in your boot or car. i had the exact same thing and it was my porthole rolling around inside the sub box. i thought it was suspention related but in the end it was just me being a grade A idiot. i looked everywhere but never thought to look inside the sub box. i assume you have checked stuff like this so it may be the other things mentioned.

thanks. it just didnt make sense to me cuz if you spray the door to match then the bonnet and front bumper which are also meeting up with the panel would be different also........ i guess this is why i aint a sprayer cuz id just do it all!

car looks sweet as mate. im a fan of lime green as you may tell from my wheels. looks real good. just a quick question. when spraying a front side panel, does the door need doing as well to make it match, this is what ive been told but it sounds dodgy.

my car was making a funny banging noise when it turned left while accelerating so i took it to my dads garage. they diognosed it to be the driveshaft and said it should be about £40. after ringing around they found it had to be purchased from toyota for £200!!!!!!!!!!!! thats each. ive been told its along way from knackered yet but the noise sounds bad so i want to sort it asap. does anyone have a solution to this shit problem.

will have a shot at it. photoshop trail has ended so will have to hijack someone elses computer for a few hours. thing is though it will prob look like the one a posted up in the photoshop section a while ago as i feel this is near perfectly as i want my own to look when the time comes.

i can assure you of no scrubbing as long as you get the right offset. looks like it lowers more than 40mm which is cool. i woul go for the 40mm over the 35mm. it will be a harder ride over potholes and stuff but handling will be improved a great deal. add a front strut brace and you'll be very happy indeed. you can use the standard shock like i am but it is recomended that you upgrade if you have the funds. but using standard ones is still ok.

i have 15s and 40mm pi's. have a look by clicking on the link. or heres a photo if you get 35mm to 37mm offset it will sit nicely in the arch with no scrubing at all. i had 4 in with no probs. the only issue you may have in the exhaust scraping on the floor over extreme bumps but its nothing major at all. may not even do it with standard exaust on. hope this helps
