ignore my last post scutch just looked in the insurance thread. thats a very good price. im 20 at the min with 1ncb but will be 21 in april so im a bit worried that it will be stupidly high.

just a small update for you all. painted my rocker cover matt black. new pipe for my air filter and some pigs to cover my side repeaters. what you reckon. i like it more than the silver.

how old are you scutch and how many ncb? if you dont mind me asking. also if my current insurer dont insure glanzas i will lose my ncb for this year wont i if i have to switch?, my insurence dont run out till august and i cant really afford to lose this years ncb.

i still feel personally that it will still need to be lowered. As the gap in the archs will still be big and it will have a monster truckish stance. Also you will get the handaling benifits from lowering. its down to personal taste at the end of the day but lowering seems to give the car 100% better looks,

yes a glanza mate. ive been planning it a while and now my moneys mounting up nicely im getting closer to buying. rang up my current insurer today and there getting back to me with a quote and im gonna ring a few more some time next week. if the quotes are good im gonna buy my self one in april for my 21st bday. if they are pretty poo quotes it will be august.

well basicly i will be selling this car to pay off the insurance on my next one and to put towards some coilovers, so every little helps!

sorry i know that there is the insurance thread but i have looked through and still have a question. When ringing up to insure a glanza do the majority of insurance companies recognise them. which companys have them on there system because i dont want to be met with alot of confused phone operators not being able to quote me because they dont know of the car. so a list of companies that can give a straight forward quote on a glanza would be very useful (and the phone number, if you have it to hand) feel free to merge this to the insurance thread. i only put it here to get it seen. thanks

well like i say i was only expecting about £1200. so any thing above that is a bonus to me. but if some one is willing to pay alot more thats cool by me. im just going on what others who have seen it have said. i did get offered £2000 for it a few months back by my cousins mate but i wasnt ready to sell. i suppose it comes down to what someone is willing to pay.

i was thinking of putting on ebay with a £3000 grand reserve so it doesnt sell, and if it did i would be very happy! then i would get an idea of what people would be willing to pay and also the amount of intrest in it. but this is a little unfair on the bidders who want it. i personally thought i would be looking at about £1200 ish but every one else i have spoke to who have seen it reckon i could get £2000 easy.

i would be happy with that. its just the finishing line is getting very close so im getting everything ready so i can buy my new one. i still gotta check my insurance though as this could smash my plans. im 20 with 1ncb but when i come to buy i should be 21 with 2ncb. any one else 21 with 2ncb insured on a glanza? i would like to sell it all complete as it would be a pain in the arse selling things seperate. but i may have too if that works out to be best. more estimates please!

i would love to see it stay mate but your heart and your wallet has to be in it. when i first got mine i was unsure whether to bother with the modding but i stuck to my plans and i love it now. but i dont know what your other plans are for a new car so i cant really compair. good luck with the decision!

got to be one of my favourite gt turbos. the attention to detail is class and im loving the c piller bar.

this is something i would like to get set up right. at hi-q tyre services in notts they are getting some state of the art digital laser setup thingymebob. when my dad was regional manager there he was involved in bringing the system in. he said its awsome so im waiting for this to come in so my car can be the tester car!

ok people, i will be looking to sell my car soon but i dont really know how much i will get for it so will you let me know what you think. list of mods... carbon fiber induction kit with direct air feed jdm inlet mani 4" black chrome exhaust front upper strut brace various engine dress up items(and hours of cleaning!) 40mm PI springs colour coded bump strips k6 mirrors on custom base plates wind deflectors tacho de badged de wipered front and rear import plates professionally tinted windows alarm 15" lightweight rota grids with fulda race tyres. there are many other little bits and bobs.

i do want one but.......... if im gonna pay out that much for an n/a cf bonnet i would rather get the glanza front end and use a glanza cf bonnet. just my personal preference for the looks. but i may still be interested depending on the price.

looking good mate. i had the same problem with my rotas. i just got some 3mm spacers which gave me the clearence to pop them on. the weight difference is pretty cool.

and this is the man we look up to as our starlet god and he cannot even match his socks up. i think im gonna reconsider my faith. there is no starlet god, just an lucky to be here, odd socked, red glanza owning man. r.i.p the old car, but the futures bright, the futures jam.

joz you are now officially our fpr guniea pig! nothing ventured nothing gained, but nothing spent takes me one step closer to the glanza finishing line! i would love to do one or two more little performance mods to my n/a though just to make it more enjoyable till i get the turbo. as for your plans, i have no idea dude just the way you like it!

thanks lobo mate. i think it may be too expensive, and complex to set up for me. but i want one really bad!! would be cool to have and would compliment my current mods nicely. but i have to think if its really worth it.
