  1. when i removed my air box i pulled this out and just left it. can someone clear this up cuz i think it may be a air temp sensor although it looks like two wires pluged into a bit of plastic. anyone know. keirz sorry about crap pic but camera seems a bit knackered.
  2. Still no sign of wheels yet but been busy while waiting. painted my calipers and also made some custom decals. just need the wheels now to complete the new look. new carbon air filter coming as well. what do you reckon. they are japanese new driver signs for those who are unsure. let me know if you want any info on what you need to create your own decals and il post it in the how 2 section.
  3. i did want D2s but trying to save for new car so decided to go cheaper. even though ive just ordered new wheels and induction kit. it is impossible to save when i still have plans for my n/a. my bros shockers keep going, he's got through 3 in as many months. mine are gas ones but i still think they have oil in as well and theres no sign of leaking.
  4. all my shock absorbers are brand new mate. i did them when i fitted the springs. i got the gas ones instead of the oil ones cuz they are gas are stiffer. handles good and is stiff on normal but at about 70 it gets a bit of a bouncing rythem going on. maybe its just crap wonkey roads.
  5. how much can these be picked up for and where from? seen some on funky styling but they seem expensive.
  6. the shocks i bought are the gas ones that come as standard. i have heared i may need shorter shockers but wasn't sure were to get them or how much.
  7. ok people. my car seems very bouncy at speeds (70 on motorway) does any one have a explination or solution? it is lowered 40mm on pi springs with 16s (soon to be 15s) has new shock absorbers and a front strut brace. i have spring adjusters fitted to stop the rear rubbing ( them rubber caravan towing thingys). could these be the problem hindering the springs. i know i have gone the cheap way on this set up and if i had the money i would do it better. but it feels stiff on normal speeds and over pot holes and stuff but bounces around alot at speed. any ideas? keirz
  8. when i did mine the bolt was stuck as well. i resorted to the hacksaw and cut it off. as for the gromit i got the ones from halfords which were slightly to small to grip in place. i got some double sided tape on the inside of the hole and that held it in place cool. looks sweet with out it doesn't it.
  9. i did my rear drums this weekend. i used a wire brush on the end of my drill for rust removal and used hamerite also. does anyone know if normal hamerite is ok for the front calipers. didn't know cuz of heat.
  10. nice and tidy mate. like the glanza spoiler. i would sort the bump strips out, there not the nicest of things on the sportifs. changes the whole look of the car. check mine out to see what there like sprayed as i have a green sportif. keep up the good work representing the sportif crew! keirz

  15. cheers mate. ive seen alot of people upgrading it. sounds good, am i right in thinking its from a 1997ish corolla. how easy are they to fit? or are you getting it fitted at a garage?
  16. looks nice mate, lowering it will make it look a hell of a lot better. what sort of gain does that mani give. does it feel quicker cuz im thinking of getting one. keirz
  17. im waiting for mine to arrive. same rims but different colour. very reasonable prices, getting the bolts free cuz of a problem with the order availabilaty. do they feel light compared to the old wheels?
