i had a similar problem when i had my prelude and i just got a push to make button from maplin and connected it to the ground wire and the wire that was meant to go to the steering wheel, mounted the button on the dash to the right of the wheel.
ive only had the car a couple weeks so ive not changed coolant or anything and theres no sign of leaks. ill mabey change it and see it it does it again. cheers!
just checked my coolant and its brown and slightly oily. no signed of head gasket problem though. no overheating, no white residue, no smokey exhaust and car runs perfect. any ideas?
i fitted the wheels today but i felt there was somthing wrong with using the standard nuts. by looking at the wheel it seems theres been a different nut used or mabey its wear from the brace. ive put a pic up for you to see. they seem to be on enough thread but usualy wheels have a taper for these nuts to fit snug although these wheels dont. the bottom picture with the fitted nut looks as though its got a lip but its the wear from the old nut i think.
ive just got my starlet and filled it for the first time today and noticed that the surround around the petrol entry is realy badly corroded! the bit that the cap scres down on. anybody else had this problem? is it common? can it be fixed easly?
im struggling to find a location for component speakers. i dont want to fit parcel shelf mounted ones as i think that looks crap. ive got manual windows so cant real cut the doors. any ideas?
