  1. Hey Dom(starbogt, vin diesel) happy birthday to your princess and may it be a day full of surprises:) Take care
  2. Lol, both the GT and the Glanza got the same engine. GT is lighter and more retro with that badaass look Glanza's are more refine and modern. The GT is lighter though which is a key point in terms of performance. I would go for an EP82 quad light with LSD. Best choice I think By the way, before I forget, I have a GT on sale lol.
  3. Well, its not easy to get someone to swap there manual for an automatic cause most of them are looking for money lol. I keep changing my mind every minute, i do really want a well looked after manual GT but if i cant get anyone to swap then i'll try selling it for like 2 grand or nearest and if still i cant get that sort of money for it then, maybe, i'll put in bigger injectors, coilovers ,FMIC and a TD04 turbo and full remap and bigger brakes to run it on 200+ BHP and then get it on the drag strip for some fun Automatics save about 2 seconds more on gear shift than manuals Neways, we'll
  4. My goodness, everyone is dying to see my SR...Its in a mess, stripped completely lol cause i had to remove the sparco bucket seat and trying to remove other bits to get all back to standard..... It is an S reg car, and the engine is very sweet,no weird noises or smoke, starts spot on anytime any weather condition. I've been busy all day trying to sort it out and so as not to upset you Miss Kaaaty lol Sorry but its the only pictures i could get on the PC, camera playing up..... YEP, 48 hours work and interior is all sorted, i would even add as new And you even get a cd player fitted, ne
  5. Or if you're interested, get my GT automatic for £1900, quick cash sale. Choice is all yours
  6. I wouldn't pay more than 150 max for them mate. They do look nice but they are used and tyres might need replacing.
  7. Yes they will fit the FE block but I would advice to consider upgrading with 5FE cams instead, if I'm Reading your mind then that's what you must do instead. Lol:) I know you're looking for a bigger Turbo and bigger BHP figures so come on matey, get a bigger block lol.
  8. Black all the way mate, trust me it will look awesome Metallic pearl black effect to be more precise. Check out my GT
  9. Well, to be honest I would rather say that it's a sad motor in need of some love and care. If I didn't have the automatic gt I would probably have bargain it around 1300- 1400. Then put in a new battery, new cvs and change all the belts, then get it through mot. But that's suppose if lol, it might have been a bucket lol. Good bArgain for a track car project though.
  10. Thanks for the comments:) yep car looks lovely. Wheels are 15" oz replicas and bonnet has just been sprayed in pearl black last week. I'm looking for a nice nearly mint manual ep82 to swap against this one basically cause it's an automatic. Lovely starlet, it drives like new.
  11. Here is a link of my new purchase, about a month ago. http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....showtopic=22496
  12. Hey Bro, wats happening? save your monies man! lol At the end of the day it will be a 5 door starlet so dont think of putting too much in cause you'll never get it back. I would reckon to drive and get use to the car by knowing its limits and build up your no claim bonus instead and think of upgrading in the future for a nice GT Turbo once you know how to handle a starlet. If you want to have a pimped starlet for the time being,i would reckon you tint them windows and pop in on 453 barking road to get a nice exhaust box, they start around 35 quid and the place name is TURBOREVS, got quite a lot
  13. Standard ECU mate but really good remap job done by some tuners up north, Halifax. Was advised by a good friend from the pulsar forum, they are not cheap but they get you what you want and how you want your car to run, amazing how electronics can create performance. No need for even an uprated pump. Ah good old SR, will miss it. coilovers are getting removed today.
  14. Hey , I'll be uploading pictures soon, no worries. The SR is stripped and has only one bucket seat in. It is one of my track cars. No big mods at all, straight through exhaust, big induction kit and 330cc injectors and a full remap. Tein adjustable coilovers with cusco front and rear strut braces and grooved discs at front with yellow stuff pads all round. No big BHP but really good fun on the track. So basically, I'm putting it all back together with complete interior and all other bits and pieces to make it standard again. It might be a couple of weeks before I put it for sale lol. But for
  15. hello jap lovers. It's been a while that I've been on the forum and didn't really introduced myself. I'm a great fan of the Starlet for over 9 years now yep, back from my home country, Mauritius, I owned my first starlet GT. I was 20 at that time and it was me Dad who imported it from japan. Car was the quad light model with LSD manual gear and in gleaming White Ah this car was amazing, had the best joy out of it but as you might have guessed I crashed it more than a couple of times. Got repaired and put back on the road but finally went on a you turn at full throttle and lost it, overturne
  16. . Hi, well I've had starlets for a while now and I can confirm they are very reliable cars with cheap maintenance cost. I'll have an SR for sale in about 2 weeks time. Mot and tax till end of year, cd player and just tinted the back and side windows in limo black. About 78k miles on clock, well serviced. It will be about £850 Cause I'll be looking for a quick sale. Car is in silver and speedline alloys are in good condition with nearly new tyres. I'll keep you posted. Watch this space TRD
