For 920 its a bargain matey. Tell him you'll buy the car anyway...You can pick any spare gearbox for about 150 and i'm sure anyone in here will get you a bargain, and think about it..you'll have a Glanza V for well under 1200 at the end of the day... I didnt notice this one on ebay matey,i would have bid it up to 1500. i reckon he didnt put any reserve thinking it will sell more than 920 but you should know that at this time of the month,money is a bit scarce in everyone's pocket and good to get bargains for those with the moneyssss

Let me put an induction kit, add a FPR and decat it and see if I get the 900 rpm idling . It might be the reason why I feel like the engine is not running at red lights, so quiet. Gives me great mpg anyway. I'll tune it up to 900rpm to be on the safe side.

600 rpm for the n/a and 800rpm for the 4efte matey as far as I know

Lol. There is an automatic choke and an idle sensor. What's wrong with your engine? If it's reving between 1500 rpm and 2000rpm when first started it's normal as engine is cold. Once warmed up, about 2-4 mins, the revs will drop down to 600 rpm. Hope it helps you out.

Hey mate, I think you were right by saying getting rip off for parts when considering the age of your car leaving you with a big dilemma of either upgrading to a new car or maintaining the V. It's been a long saying that French cars are fragile, cheap and not reliable but did you ever try the new Renault Twingo GT cup edition (133 BHP). They are just sublime and amazing on the track. I tried my best to beat the time it made on the track with the Starbo but the best gap was 8 secs so imagine. I tested only 2 laps at brands hatch with the twingo and set up a time I couldn't beat though trying

Had a great time at japshow but the starlet was overfuelling a bit and didn't get any club stand so came with the family Auris. Saw loads of civics this time and too much wheel spins on start ups for the starlet. My set up is still under review at the moment cause overfuelling issues due to bigger Turbo fitted but I promise next year to be running the top secret 4wd starlet under 12 secs Till then fingers crossed

Awesome ride. I think the 5E is the perfect n/a combination for this extra efficient power. I tried with the 4E n/a but blew the engine by trying to mod it too much ( bigger injectors etc etc ) lol. Then dropped a 4EFTE lump in and it felt likeany regular Glanza, so got bored again. Winter came, 2 months and the big conversion with the 4AGE on quad throttle bodies were dropped in. It survived only for about 2 hours lol, couldn't get proper traction and lost control at 7rpm on 3rd gear at about 70 mph I let you imagine the rest.
