you alright matey? It happens that I cruise a lot up north london, wood green area, to sort out the starlets. Got my mate ( Toyota specialists) living there and it's always good to get a hand from someone who knows what he's doing instead of try to do it yourself, know wat I mean:)) Give me a buzz anytime. Cheers pal.

Put the key in and keep turning from left to right until it starts!!!

Hmmm. What about that small plastic thing in the ignition barrel which was a common fault in toyotas. Keep switching on and off hard on the key for about 5 mins and see if it starts. Mine did the same back in the days, everything lights up and when try to start, just the click. But i had a manual one so push started it,then put back in the drive and tried again switching on and off.Sometimes it would start and sometimes not.Earthing was good, starter motor fine. The fault was in the ignition barrel. Hope it helps.

Leaving Starlets/toyota's And Going Completely To Honda.
TRD replied to southwales_tuner's topic in Lifestyle General
;) I hope you do find the pleasures you had with your starlet with this Honda. They are great machines indeed but lighter than the starlet i'll doubt it. Been into civics and to be honest just swapped the esi lately for another starlet. Loving these litttle 1.3 beasts too much Might pop a B16A2 turbo in me starlet one day . Good luck with the CRX matey and keep us updated -
Time, date and location please Cheers bruv

Too much body kit, car is suffocating mate. lol Thats a crazy piece of shhhh...tt Lool Star trek next generation car..My days it looks like a bug, a flying one

Lights on and here we go drifting lol. Always hated neons. Corsa's are not that bad as a cheap runaround or for a first time driver Had one years ago but it was really weird how fast it went everytime i floored it lol smoked bmw's, civic's etc almost everything on lights. Checked log book and always read 1199cc So obviously opened bonnet to check it out and was always amazed. what the fuck is this engine, nice looking for a 1.2 . I let you guys appreciate. TRD's old old old CHAVY corsa lol c20xe engine

Well it use to be one of my track cars, so maybe put it back on the track unless if it sells for 800 lol. I've been to japshow finale recently and seeing the times turbo starlets made didnt impress me. Maybe consider to turbo it or just drop in a 3SGTE engine in and mod it to running 300+ BHP It should easily make low 12's or high 11's at pod. Anyway,we'll see.

Hey guys, unfortunately my brother in law fell in love with the car, so its no more in my hands now, sold it to him...Instead i am modifying the SR. Watch out in the ep 91 builds then.
-
Nice glanza and good mods...Maybe cheap cause in need of money!!!
-
Anyone from here? I was in the silver starlet SR. Saw you in the rear view mirror and at first thought it was a glanza n/a cause it had a plain bonnet without scoop. I put my hazard at the traffic lights and you got at the rear of my car. Went a bit further down the road and at the round about we both took the exit for the A13 London, I redlined it on 2nd and third but you overtook me with ease after a couple of seconds<_<, so definitely yours was turboed!

Thanks mate. Very helpful indeed. I'll be looking into it soon.

I have decided to convert the auto Gt to manual. So basically I am enquring about a quote from anyone who knows how to do this. What do I need? Flywheel? Gearbox which I know, lol, pedals etc. Anyone that can do it and if so for how much including all parts??? I would like to run it with an LSD box preferably but it will all depend on what's available. I'm based in Essex area.

Nice one lol. Moral of the story: Never let your girl out in the dark and never let your girl sit in another car lol
-
Don't drag too much attention on it Green detailing does not suit a White car unless you want to make it look like a candy punk car for Japanese girl teens lol. The perfect detailing I would reckon is black on White. Example bonnet black, new m3 look black mirrors, black spoiler and some descent black side skirts and a black front lip and rear black spats for them bumpers to complete the whole story By the way, I like the quote of Bunta. He is a smoking hazard on the wheel by the way lol, wish it was real to drive at crazy speeds with eyes half closed and smoking like a chimney lol.
-
Hey Kaaaty, congrats on your new ride, car looks stunning and i love them starlets in White. So i guess i can leave the SR in the drive then lol. But for that price,i guess you got a very good deal considering the mods the car has. Look after it and please dont do the green detailing

180 BHP by pushing to the limit..... If you want the 200 bhp go for the ECU mate and remap, bigger injectors and hope you dont pop the small 4EFTE
-
i would never push a 1.3 engine to 200 bhp, it wont stand even an hour on the track and i think i said basic rule for 200BHP +, i put the +( plus)...Or maybe you're right i'm in a fairy land driving my 420 bhp pulsar....
-
lol I reckon you get my starlet GT instead mate cause you've been looking for a while. Lol I'll post the Ad for the SR next week in the right section so watch out! nothing wrong with the car, engine sweet and very lively. Can spin the wheel even on shifting onto 2nd gear
-
Lol, you won't have to upgrade a lot cause the SR comes with lowered suspension and nice speedline alloys as standard and the engine is well lively. oh I forgot to state, it will have a speedline alloy as spare in the boot, not the crappy 13" steel. Unless you plan to go racing then you'll need upgrades but I reckon your insurance won't be happy to help if something goes wrong then. Think about it all. You need to build up your claims so stick to standard for a couple of years then put in the turbo etc after. They handle the road quite well though standard.
-
Sorry Kaaaty but it will not go with the uprated parts because I need the parts for my other car unfortunately. Let me know if you're interested, car will be available as from the 16th.Offers considered on the car and also do remember SR are becoming very rare and hard to get hands on at a bargain. I would prefer giving it to an enthusiast.

Basic rule in attaining 200 BHP + !!! Get a forged engine. Always be on the safe side, otherwise you'll end hearing the pistons grinding the block and Pop pop, vraaaaah pop no more engine. Lol I would reckon 175-185 BHP with this set up and depending on mapping for the 200 bhp.
