  1. i was told it was knocking, so i knew it was damaged, just nowhere near that bad :/ and it was months ago now, so cant really do anything about it
  2. it was bucketep91 off here that i bought it from who also had it inspected by somebody so they must have not told him how bad the damage was, and if they did check it, they would have seen the big chunk of conrod rattling around surely?
  3. man that looks nasty, gutted for him tbh got to be careful in this weather now, saw 2 crashes in the last month, in exactly the same place, uk spec civic type r in a hedge, and couldnt even recognise the other car it was that badly smashed up, it was upside down too, and i drive that road alot, and i know the other half drives it everyday for work i think both guys came out of them okay though, luckily but its weird, because they were both in pretty much the straighest bit of road there, in exactly the same place :/
  4. wow those lights have come out pretty wicked tbf, where did you get the stuff to do them, if you can give me a link that would be awesome mate and good base car, as said, some tidy 15's and some lowering springs/coilovers to start you off

  9. once you've got the bumper off, youll see it straight away, its a bit like the manual adjuster on the back of the headlights, theres only 1 on each fog lamp anyway, so you cant get it wrong
  10. they are all down as 1.3 non turbo's on the log book, but you've got to tell the insurance company its a turbo, otherwise your insurance is void and your nakered if you crash EDIT: and it also puts other gt owners premiums up
  11. ebay says 33 lmao and its a bit shit the scuff didnt come off :/ got quite a few things for this to go under the tree now havent you
  12. they'd probably go up for sale, they'd get more selling them than weighing them in so keep your eyes peeled

  14. splash guard gets in the way with the bumper on, probably be better off taking the bumper off dude

  16. i knew it had a 'slight knocking' so i was expecting damage, but not on this scale, the guys at the machine shop said it must have been rattling around for quite some time to get that bad. soo not sure whats happening on the engine front just yet, made an enquirery just now, and waiting to hear back, if it doesnt happen then ill have to wait til after the summer i think
  17. just got back from the engine shop in bryn mawr, and found out that the bottom end is pretty much scrap crank is naff, he said its the worst he's ever seen, and the block itself is warped. so no fte going in any time soon but got a few cosmetic changes lined up hopefully, and then maybe have the fte by my next insurance renewal (dec 2011) bad times, bad times

  22. not sure on the color, but the rims go with it so well so your excused
  23. yes, just glued, i used a hairdryer to heat up 1 end, then slowly peeled it back and got the hair dryer in just behind the strip to heat the glue better, then soaked the left over glued with white spirits using a rag, then scraped away with an ice scraper, just be sure to wash it and polish it after using the white spirits
  24. i know that liam, but its said the same lol
