One of the most important points that has come from this recent unexpected downtime is that UKSC needs to come back as strongly as possible to safeguard our name, our identity, and the reputation that we have taken so long to establish. With that in mind, there are a few projects, some big, some not so big, in the pipeline that we are keen to implement. Consider the downtime a bit of a kick up the arse to finish some things we have been meaning to do and tinkering at for a while now. it's been a real difficult few days, firefighting on several fronts, however, as Geo has said, it has allowed us to do a certain amount of future proofing as well as protecting our identity from would-be imposters. a few tempers boiled, but some important fences have also been mended as a result of this, so the plan is to learn from this incident and to feed it back into improving the site and club and making sure this doesnt happen again and that our identity is protected. someone on FB is clearly having a pop at the admin right now, but please bear in mind we have full time jobs, families,

the domain name expired as the reminders went into Geo's Junk Mail folder, easily missed. then because we weren't a priority to fix, we got bumped down the queue. this is a temporary URL access until our domain name is up and rocking again, despite some clown trying to buy it prior to all this, our name is not for sale and if Geo ever does sell it, it will be to me so UKSC remains as she should with her original identity. also - i pm'd u back on TGTT dude, did u get it? just want to confirm u still have the caliper ok before my brother sends payment. read the UKSC facebook and TGTT, i have said this numerous times now, it had NOTHING to do with the system. we dont have an "unstable" system. the renewal reminders for the domain name went to Geo's Junk Mail folder and he missed them.
