Wot about addin a permanent link thread to our Australian sister site on the index page?? Same as the current seperate JAE thread...only permanent. Just as a niffty additional feature of another purley Starlet orientated site, just a suggestion for the G man. Phil.

I never said it was a popularity pole, but theres nothin sayin u have to be a mod to do any of wot u just mentioned, members are just as capable of it as mods which is why i dont see why people are complainin over the sake of a title...it makes no difference, we're all on here for a common interest and contribute where we can, a title is relatively irrlevant as far as the level of your contribution goes. Im not arguin wit u ryno dude as wot u'v said is 100% true, we just seem to approachin this from different view points mate, my point is just that i dont see the point in complainin over the sake of a title thats all. Phil.
-
Fair point ryno. I've said my piece. Phil.

Im not even gonna waste my breath arguin with u. A moderators job is to simply ensure that no nonsense occurs and to intervene if it does (i refer to the minuszero incident)! A member is just as able to contribute articles/topics etc etc as a moderator it makes no freakin difference! As i said im not wastin my time arguin with u about this, I've already expressed my view. http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1066 Phil.

I feel at this point i have to stand up for our present moderators! U say they're not on here as much?? Rich is finishin his final year at UNIVERSITY, Si has a job and a girlfriend and Shelly works full time! So excuse them wont u if they're not on here 24/7...i believe its called havin a life outside of their computers. In my opinion they've done a bang up job, they kept the show runnin while Geo was away and they dealt with the small amout of hassle that occured a few months back with minuszero. There may be one or two mods who do bugger all and leave it to non-mods to arrange meets etc but im not pointing any fingers as i know these people are busy with other commitments. And also, if there are to be new moderators it should be up to Geo and his current mod staff to select them and i believe there are one or two members further up the list who TRULY know their shit! Lobo for his technical knowledge, especially from wot i can gather about turbos, Baz for his Bodywork EXPERTISE (the man owns his own bloody coachworks business for cryin out loud), Gaz for his all round know-how!!!! U dont have to have the title 'moderator' under your username to fully contribute to the site! I've a hell of a lot more posts and was on the original site before it crashed, have arranged a meet, am goin to JAE, tell people about UKSC ALL THE TIME, put minuszero in his place and am on here as much as possible for someone who's doin a MASTERS degree and has a full time job at the mo but im not bitchin and moanin about not bein a moderator, i'm happy to just try to contribute when and where i possibly can and communicate with some members via text, phone call and msn when i can. If Geo choses to make someone a mod then thats HIS decision as this whole site is the result of HIS vision and dedication and that of our current mods and to Geo and the mods i can only say thank you and i'll see u in a week and a half!! Phil.
-
Dont really know that we need any at the mo, and even if we did i think Lobo and Rubix are the OBVIOUS next choices, more posts etc etc, no offense meant Shaun. Phil.

No worries man, i just love that model of Glanza, the front end is pure evil. Phil.

Thats very true mate, im held perfectly too but my best mate cant get in my car anymore as he's too big for the seats, he'd only ruin them, it sounds a sin but he actually admits it himself. Phil.
-
Exactly Wylo, keep up the good work dude! Phil.
-
I love my n/a so im standin by her and votin n/a but DAMN i wish i had turbo power, sick and tired of bein underpowered for overtakes that a Glanza would nail! A glanza the same as SiCalns in red, black or the same colour as my n/a would make me a very happy man! Phil.
-
Ok cheers mate, appreciate the heads up. I have to agree with Sparky, these are good lookin and very comfortable seats. My bro has Cobra Daytonas same as SiCaln had in his old SR, again an very comfortable seat, but the Carrera's hold u better/tighter in the kidney area, handy in the bends. Phil.

Just noticed your Glanza has a Northern Ireland plate dude, how come?? Phil.
