Ok i guess someone should do a report on this then. Was an absolutley cracker day!!!! Sun was splittin the rocks!!! There was a great turnout out of jap (and non-jap) cars and it was also a damn good location with Carrick Castle for the back drop!!! I arrived around 2pm or so, to find Nordonian and WeeJohn already there, and later in the day met TTE starlet also so 4 UKSC members representin!!!! This was the first big event id been to with the new wheels on so actually felt like the car wasnt outta place which was cool!!! Lots of Supras, Scoobies, Evos Civics etc etc etc and several starlets including mine, Nordonians, Weejohns, TTE Starlets, the white Kingdom development one that has been posted in the general section before, a black ep91 with an MSDesigns bodykit, several GTTs, a couple of white Glanzas, a white Glanza S with glanza V bonnet, didnt see under it so dunno if it had been turbo'd, a red Glanza V, first time I've seen one in the flesh, and that crazy silver thing with the shoppin trolley spoier that has also been posted in the general section before (went up close for a nosey dented scratched etc etc). I didnt have a camera but i know Nordonian did, tho im not sure if he's gonna post any of them or not, p.s. Nordonian mate, your car looks SSOO tidy in the flesh mate, very nice work. See, i love the contrast of your car Rich, and detialin is class too, like the way your graphics r black on the door and whhite on the bonnet, u already know how much i love your car, i just prefer colour coded handles, it just looks tidier imo. Phil.

Contrast schmontrast, its one thing if its a big ass bonnet like that guy on here with the white car and black bonnet...wots his name...u know...that guy...WHITE WHITE WHITE WHITE, colour codin for me just ties it all in and makes it look so much tidier and as if some proper thought has been put into wots been done to the car. I colour coded my mirror stems last yr and am so much happier. I say White. Phil.

The caliper was totally serviced when it seized a few weeks back streetracer mate and the pistons greased up with graphite grease so they should be fine, plus my mechanic knows his shit inside and out and he cant figure it out!! He's gettin me a price for the AP Racin calipers, hopefully not £600, if they are i'll opt for Wilwood ones or somethin instead. @Simon, thanks for the offer dude, but if im changin then i may aswell upgrade, roads here are shit esp in winter so more stoppin power would be nice, may do disks too not sure, tho if the price turns out to be ridiculous i may take u up dude, tho TBH i really dont wana go factory because it could only happen again, how many miles r on them?? A couple of u may already have known that my passenger side caliper locked on me a few weeks back and resulted in a cloud of smoke from the front end!!! Well yesterday me and my family went indoor carting in Ballymena...on the way up i could feels omethin wrong and the night before along the motorway i was convinced i could hear a strange noise from the passenger front end! So when i pulled up to a junction with my window down i got a HUGE wiff of something burnin.....thought 'oh poo....bet ya thats me'....pulled into the carting carpark and got out to have a look...to find LOTS of smoke pouring from my caliper!!!! Had the car recoveredon a flat bed lorry and taken back to Larne....where my mechanic took the caliper apart to find....nothing wrong at all!!!! WTF!!!!! the pistons are perfectly free but the wheel is COVERED in brake dust which is a good trick as EBC green stuff pads arent meant to break down like that, esp at only 3 weeks old!!!!!! Clearly there is somethin worng with it tho and we've decided to bin them and now have to fork out for uprated calipers, most probably a set of AP Racin calipers....a nice upgrade but NOT when i wanted to do it as it will cost a BOMB!!!! Total bugger! Phil.
