Insurance is gonna love you! Not many insure engine swaps cheaply. Save youself the hassle and just buy a Glanza if you can get insured on it.
-
Or go in the day and go "shopping" ;)

Battery from a uk starlet fits fine. Halfrauds do em ;)

What colour is the smoke? Does it smell?
-
As above, turbo on it's way out. Easy to fix for now, just put the cat back on to absorb the oily smoke till a replacement turbo can be sourced.
-
I dont like em either but i have one and it costs naff all to buy, run, insure and is comfy and economical! 55+mpg Lose the pride and accept the reality of stupid fuel prices and buy a derv, you know it makes sense+ it's easy to sell on as your likely to change your mind next month anyway. http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/c...ons=&page=2 Theres not many jap cars that are comfy, cheap to run or insure.

GET THE ALARM NOW! Tinted windows dark like yours attract attention, something to hide eg: audio!
-
Not only decent folks look on these sorts of forums! Where else do you find such a detailed list of mods on cars and their approx location???? Not good mate,i have some audio for sale that'll fill those holes and i may even have the wiring somewhere too. Give me a ashout and i'm sure a deal can be sorted for you.
-
You are on aforum full of info on these cars so it's all there if you have a look They are easy to get parts and to work on if you want to keep your money in your pocket instead of paying £40+ ph for a grease monkey to do it for you! Most are just monkeys when it comes to these cars.
-
turbo will be fine, turbo cars come with a dump valve as standard.
-
Not good mate. Why the chuff was there no alarm on it!!!!???? You spend a fortune on it and leave it all to chance.......FFS! That DVD player is now probably been turned into something that can be injected into some nobs arm by now
-
You can but it will only dump when you lift off the throttle, not as it changes gear.
-
Think it's about £55 i havn't filled it for a while now I mainly use it at weekends so only fill it once a month or so I only paid £2500 for a top spec meridian, half leather, alloys ,A/C etc and its a 2001 model, nice and pokey low down in the gears and can be tuned to give some good power with economy too.
-
FFS! Best of luck with whatever you choose. A 306 diesel will fit the bill for you mikey. 600miles to the tank in my HDI
-
You paid £20 for that!!!???? You wos robbed!
-
Take the heat shield off or grind it back so you can fit a U bolt. ;)
-
They dont need to change the speedo to mph, easy to change with a converter tho. rear fog is needed for MOT but wire it into a rear cluster so you dont have the horrid red blob under the bumper.
