  1. And he let you drive it off knowing it didn't fit right! Sounds like a bit of a cowboy to me!
  2. Why not! I don't like the guy but he wouldn't do any worse than the twats that are in control at the moment! I'm all for the capital punishment, might bring some order back to the country!
  3. Something aint on right then.
  4. If the springs are on the front shocks then it's a piece of piss to do them! Jack it up,wheels off, undo the 2 bolts at the bottom, then the 4 at the top, remove old unit, and repeat for other side tthen its the opposite to put the new ones in! Half hr a side tops! Just make sure the bolts are sprayed with penetrating fluid the night before easy! The springs for the rear i'd get done at a garage personally,if the garage will fit the springs for you it's the same as the fronts for fitting the rears. Dont forget to support the car with axle stands so you dont end up with the car ontop of you!
  5. The pics are only 80% sized on my computer, must be you guys doin sumthin wrong! ;)
  6. Was thinkin the same thing!! does look better though
  7. It's the size and spaceing of the letters on the plate that are the legal requirements, you can get plates that are the height width and shape of the letters, not sure if these guys do them or not. http://www.fancyplates.com/ http://www.myshowplates.com/ http://www.demonplates.com/
  8. As above, and drill a new hole and get a new bolt or just tighten the other two up a bit more.
  9. You really need to ask that question????????? ;) Lexarse lights are fuckin ugly on a lexus never mind on any other car, especially a starlet!! http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....hl=lexus+lights
  10. No worries,i wouldn't worry about it anyway, since they would look under your car and still see a "cat" in place.
  11. Gotta watch them low flyin piggies when you got that much extra power! ;)
  12. German build quality It's crap these days!!! Seriously!! My mate is an audi technician you should hear the stories he says about audi's! There are very few german cars i would buy, modern audi's aint there at all! Wouldn't piss on one if it was on fire!
  13. Alloy eh? That'll add 10hp on it's own!!!! lol ;)
  14. Not yet...... but if it's near the coombe a trip down on a friday may be worth the drive!!
  15. Thats been around for a while now i think.Difficult to find though. Castle coombe is only a short hop away for me.....wonder if theres a BP near there!!
  16. Dont own velcro gloves and wellies by any chance do you?? ;) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Flock_of_sheep.jpg
  17. Fuel, insurance, mods, tyres, serviceing, unexpected problems such as a turbo going pop, other engine issues etc etc etc Usual turbo running costs really.they are the main ones to worry about.
  18. Buy a nice quadlight GT (or squarelamp ;) ) And mod that using the money saved instead of getting the Glanza.Nicely modded GT would only be 2/3 the price of Glanza, easier to insure too.
  19. Was gonna suggest the saab 9-5 too, heavy but capable and lovely inside! or an R33 2.5 non turbo, still 240 bhp wont rip your socks off but its still a nice daily drive,A-Plan would do you a good deal as they specialise in stuff like skylines. http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/CARS_...200711104262605 http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/CARS_...200711104298032 http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/CARS_...200706270519833
