Does no one know this? Some of you are surely runnin over 1.2 bar boost. Does MR2 or Supra map sensors fit the starlet gt?

At what boost does the map sensor kick in and are there any other map sensors with a higher rating available for the starlet gt?

The first car I got was a 1.6 Punto Sporting and I had tons of plans for it, body kit, cams, exhaust and stuff and my brother kept telling me the money I was going to spend would go a long way towards a naturally faster car that doesn't need mods. The wheels came with bolts like you described, prob give one of the wheels a try for the hell of it anyways, got nothin to loose but time

Nah is there a standard one fitted on them, just still not tracked down how the oil is getting into my coolent and someone menytioned oil coolers can let that happen but can't find an oil cooler on er.

Is there an oil cooler on the 4E-FTE engine (EP-82) and if there is where?

Was good to get meetin some of you guys, was gutted I wasn't down in my GT, sure theres always next time. It did get quite cold, was very surprised my girlfriend who was numb and has no interest in cars what so ever never complained once lol!

The Turbo guys rang me today, my turbo is complete, should have it Tuesday or Wednesday Car won't be ready to go to Jap heaven in though but i'll still be going in my work car for a nosey.

Ok getting the Cams reprofiled to a mild road cam standard, but need new shims and was at the Toyota garage and they need to know what size of tappets i need. Does anyone know the clearances for the Inlet and the exaust? My engines a 4E-FTE EP-82 if it helps

I also voted Hybrid but i'm a bit biast cause i just sent my turbo away to get it Hybrid lol. Personally all i'm looking is 200BHP, 220 would be nice too but my car feels fast at around 140 bhp so i'm guessing another 60-80 on top of that and i'll be extremly pleased and forever fighting to get traction on them rainy days lol!

I work for a company called Autocab, fittin GPS tracking and data despatch systems for Taxi companys, only started this job a couple of months ago, before that was a C++ Programmer but found it very boring.

Ok the head wasn't cracked but one of the valves was burnt out, been very lucky to have got it before a complete wrecking session! Heading towards a faulty oil cooler now to see if thats how the oil is getting into the coolant.

Sent it to Turbo force, can't remember what all he's doing this he said, cut back fins, larger compressor wheel, new bearings and seals, not sure what all else, said it should be good for up to 20psi. £500inc Vat and thats with delivery and pickin included. I'll tell you next week if they're any good lol.

Hopefully find out what condition the heads in today, the guy workin on it says theres not one sign of wear on the engine anywhere which is good, only 55k miles on er so not to bad. Bit the bullet and posted my turbo off today, getting it Hybrid, just incase it was the turbo causing her to smoke lol!

Well finally got the head off and turns out the Head gasket was not blown on her, so I'm either lookin at a cracked head or a something in the lower engine block which would not be good! Got the head away being pressure tested and a few other wee things while its witht he guys, if it the bottom end thats wrecked then guess I'd be forced to put the 1.5 bottom end into er lol!

Oh bugger my bad! Yea got an FCD on there. I'll be sortin an ECU out soon, just dunno anyone that can fit it and map it but will have to sort something out. So long as she'll run safely with the larger injectors in er and not over fuel untill i get the ECU sorted.

The guy working on my car has asked me if the car will run on the 327cc injectors i've bought without a remap, been asking if it will borewash or will it run safly enuf. My setup is when he puts it all in. FMIC 327cc injectors Uprated fuel pump SARD Adjustible Fuel regulator HKS Actuator HKS Airfilter Stainless Exhaust Stainless Mani Stainless Downpipe Turbo at 1.1 bar (Hybrid on the way then going up to 1.2) So will the car run safely on the bigger injectors untill i get my new turbo? There is rolling road time booked to get the fueling all set up. Also talkin about boreing it out to 1.
