Another long overdue update on how my car is going. Got mi16chris to fit and map an emanage for me earlier this week and upped the boost from 0.8 to 1.1 bar and we managed to achieve the following results. TD04L @1.1 bar Engine power - 248.3 Wheel power - 212.7 Max Torque - 198.7 So just shy of 250bhp which is very nice if not a little scary ;) not got to drive it much since it was mapped and rolling roaded due to us taking the brake pads down to bare metal, its not a great experience getting the car mapped when u got no brakes but the new pads arrived today so all being well I'll get them

Yea its externally gated, the screamer pipe makes a fair bit of noise, very intimidating when your accelerating past cyclists or people walking their dog and near everything o the car now is WEPR. Still can't believe it mad 225 at .8 bar, when the guy told me wot it madei thought i was hearing things, was expecting 180 or so. Hehehe sorry lad, was with a women that leeched the social life and independence outta me, but I finally wised up she tried to tell me wot i could spend on my car!!! She had to go! No LSD in the car yet but it will be going in asap! Even in the dry now it spins the full of the 2nd gear and dont even get me started wot its like in the wet! I have worries about the Clutch, i have no idea wots in there, I'm assuming its standard but yet its taking the power so far with no signs of slipping, the lsd with the extra grip i think with kill it. So need to save a little more for a better clutch to

Thought I'd post a wee update to this thread. The car has the WEPR TD04 kit fitted now and made 225bhp at 0.8 bar so very happy with it, but still need to forge the car to get the most from the kit. The turbo was hybrided by a company in england called Turboforce, runs very well and they claim it will do 20psi and for running all the time 18psi no prob. Bit more lag with it though. As for the thicker head gasket, I thought i blew a headgasket so just bought a thicker one cause was going to run 1.5 bar at one stage with all the supporting mods then just never bothered, will do it no harm with the TD04 i guess, soon as i get it forged then will be running 1.4 so will maybe be worth it then. Just didn't have the money for boat to JAE, really wanted to go though, maybe next year.

Aye the wheels are crying out for attention, where on her when she was brought over. I've plans for the TOMS body kit and new wheels when i'm finished with the engine.

I am still planning on going to this, cars getting the ecu fitted and mapped 2 weeks before and still need mot, but its all doable

The BLITZ one in the instructions it dosn't say you have to remove the air con, however i removed the air con for weight reasons. The Core picture that was posted up on this thread looks practically identical to the BLITZ core except obviously for the blitz stamp on it

Have a BLITZ one on my GT, its alovely job and massive to look at so you get an element of bling attached to it, think i got mine in from Greenline at about £340 plus delivery, so very cheap if you order from the japs

It's a gopod idea but as i read on it said it was an optional extra, if your the sort that knows you have a drink and then drive well then your not going to want that extra cause it costs money and will only annoy you. They'd need to fit it as standard for it to make it worth while i think. As for the camera, just stick some gum over it or something lol!

I don't really drive mine easy all the time though so guess its my own fault but since Hybrided it and corrected the fueling for the boost it just drinks fuel, you can see the needle move if you gun it ;)

I don't even get that in my GT but its had a fair bit done to the engine.

Oh ballz! i'm stinkin drunk! I can sense the pain in the morning! Got the car washed ealier today so hope it stays clean for meeting you guys, insides a mess still, hoses/pipes and screws everywhere, its still under construction you see lol!

My cars clean rotten! I live up a country road with farmers so all ways a nightmare to keep clean!

With my car i'm putting in softer shocks in the front, been told this will help with traction. At the min shes very hard all round.

Fun - Worse Skoda Octavia 1.9 Tdi Acceleration - Appauling Speed - Smoother at higher speeds but less top end Handling - Like a boat, excellent brakes though Comfort - Better Noise - Fairly quiet Visibility - Worse Fun - hahahahaha erm no!
