Said he was getting alot of juddering going on then they melted lol Knowing him it was head from the engine though, poor starlet got an awful amount of abuse! Still it took everything he could throw at it! So is there really no need for these leads then?

When my brother had his GT he melted his standard leads, dunno how that happened but when he got the magnacore leads on they never melted ;) Might stick a set on mine, but she's running well atm.

Putting Yokohama 205/55/15 A0032R (Soft) on the front. Unfortunatly they're only good for about 4-5k miles but have massive grip in both wet and dry.

Sorry taken me so long to reply to this. Was the plugs that where buggered, its running ok now though the boost controller is faulty too lol! Took it to the rollin road to get a health check, a reading and a sard regulator fitted and set correctly. Came back and they said they couldn't get 1.2 bar boost stable due to a fualty controler and charged me £100 for two hours work of what they called fault finding (which involved plugging in another boost controller, 5 mins i woulda thought) on top of the £250 for all the other stuff, I wasn;t happy i tell ya! Still they setting her up on the rollers for free for me next time so thats not too bad.

Yea lad got plenty of mods done but was running very reliably at .9 bar, all this started when i put on a electronic boost controller and when setting it the car ran at 1.2bar+ for at the most 30 secs then its not been right since. Have my brothers MR2 here so might try the map sensor out of it tomorrow but where in Co. down are you? I'm from banbridge. Thinking maybe a blown off pipe down behind the inlet mani but couldn't see in the dark

Ok posting this here so more people will see it and maybe know the fault. The car won't boost over .5 bar boost when it does it starts cutting as if the map sensor is triggering but tried driving it with the map sensor hose disconnected and it still does it. Thought it was maybe the map sensor but think that proves it not. Also tried to do a ECU reset by dissconecting the battery for 30 mins. Could people list possible things that could cause this? Thanks

Ok its not the Boost controller, put back on my Bleed valve and same problem happens, wonder have a blown the map sensor. Anyone know how to reset the ecu?

I'll put these settings into mine and see what happens, prob will need changed some due to different characteristics of out cars plus mins a hybrid turbo fitted so will prolly mess things about! Cheers for the info though

I dunno Settings from memory are cause i'm 100 miles away from the car lol Boost 70% (tried as low as 35%) GAIN 10% (Tried this at 5% and 20%) Start boost 136 (have tried this as low as 50) Warning 250 These are just experimental figures not intended to be the final ones by the way. How important is the air filter piece? its not on there yet the guy that fitted it had it in his pocket and left! will fit it later this evening.

Anyone got experience using one of these? Had the car running about 1.2 bar boost and now can't get it to boost bast .5 bar, soon as i get to .5 the car judders and cuts power like mad really violently, when i switch off the boost controller it runs about .5 bar no problem with no juddering. Would the ECU need reset cause i was abusing the 1.2 bar map sensor?

Its just nuts and bolts at the end of the day, if you have access to tools then do it urself with a mate. May aswell save a few quid!

I'll come to this too, my cars finally on the road should be available anytime don't work weekends and have a good old 9 to 5 job
