  1. For all who were interested in coming to this, I've now set a date for the meet http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=50785&hl=&fromsearch=1
  2. Ok then, after seeing enough interest across the forums, we are going ahead with this meet and have now set a date! DATE / TIME - Sunday 15th April 2012 - 4pm arrival for a 5pm start on the track. LOCATION - Mr Karting Ltd Unit 2 The Hangars Harbury Lane Bishops Tachbrook Leamington Spa Warwickshire CV33 9SA As mentioned in the other thread, this will be a multi-forum meet, hopefully with MeganeSport, ClioSport, CivicLife and 206Info. It's a bit of a random mix I know but that's the main forums myself and Dom (the other lad organising this) frequently use! If any of you want to post this
  3. 1992 Toyota Carina II 1.6 XLi... No shit! Bought it for £60 and drove it from February to June last year until it shat a rod out the sump at about 90mph going down the A46 looooooool! Never ever had so much fun in a car!! Because it cost fuck all I never cared about it.. I used to take it off roading, drove it flat out absolutely everywhere like I'd stolen it and would drive it through bushes, ramp up embankments, take out those yellow plastic bollards for fun... honestly it was brilliant! My mate had an equally shit 306 and we used to just ram each other all the time, do the pit maneuver
  4. 200bhp starlet, is that the white one with the green cage? If so, I cant help but think that is such a pointless car! I can appreciate all of the work and yes it must be an absolute animal and a proper hoot to drive BUT... He left it FWD. All that effort and money he might as well of spent that little bit extra and utilizied the 4WD system. Now that would of been a proper supercar killer! The thing weighs about the same as a prawn cracker, it must just spin the wheels constantly!
  5. Make the journey guys! It's already looking to get quite big! Got 5 or 6 people on CivicLife who seem quite keen, and same again on 206Info and its only been 2hrs so far
  6. DATE NOW SET, SEE THREAD LINK AT BOTTOM OF PAGE Right then guys, me and my best mate Dom both work at Mr Karting in Leamington Spa and have come up with an idea for a karting meet/tournament kind of thing? We are both active members on quite a few forums, and were thinking of making this into a multi-forum event... so there should be some serious rivalry lol and a good chance to test your driving skills against other petrolheads! It has the potential to be a massive turnout and the location is IMO a good spot for photographs as we share the site with a storage firm and a scrapyard so there i
  7. Cheers guys Luke I will take you out in it at some point this year!! A38 probably, once it's actually back up and running and the Police have left everyone to it lol
  8. I have fingers like the OP on my left hand, but only three of them! My little finger is bent round slightly still, the scarring is savage! Trapped them in a massive victorian oak door hinge when I was ten! They were squashed flat down to the first knuckle (the one about 2cm away from the tip of your finger), probably to around the size of a £1 coin!!!
  9. UPDATE! Busy afternoon, managed to soak myself as well whilst washing it... Hose was frozen solid so had to throw buckets of water on the car instead... slipped and emptied the whole cunting thing on top of myself! GOOD EFFORT! Decided it didn't want to start, even though I'd whacked a new battery on it last month. So out came Freddy the Fourtrak to the rescue with the jump leads! Then got it on the drive, decided to de-tint it first and remove my Skunk2 stickers to replace for some CivicLife ones! Freddy hiding in the background Then fitted my new rocker cover... looks shit hot, just n
  10. Well thats up for some debate, I think it just depends on how lucky you are with the engine! This one was built up by Daz @ DNR. It was fully checked over before running boost and had a new oil pump, water pump, cambelt and head gasket before fitment into his own EK. It was ran at various different pressures; he told me that this engine ran for almost a year at 10psi without any hassle whatsoever, and that produced around 275bhp loool IIRC he said he managed to get well over 300bhp (331 I think!) on one of his old D16 engines a few years back, at around 15psi... But it lasted about a mont
  11. Because a D16 costs about £100 whereas a B16/18 costs like £600+ The little D16s are as strong as an ox tbh! Plus I got offered the whole package in a straight swap for my blown H22 set up. Just had to pay the labour to swap them, so it was a bit of a no brainer I think you'll agree?
  12. As per my last post, the new engine is now in! Running 7psi on the new engine, estimated at between 240-250bhp Will be getting it verified on a dyno next year once the 3" downpipe has been fitted And needless to say I'm loving it! So much quicker than before, good for about 150mph, has 2-step fitted as well as a screamer pipe so as you can imagine it's erm quite loud! Few pics and a cheeky vid! More vids to come next year along with (MAYBE!) a full respray, bay shave/tuck/spray and yet more chassis refreshing... Watch this space http://youtu.be/aVBKVN-UfbM
  13. No one want these? Price drop, £20 delivered?
  14. Ive gone as far as SORNing my Civic EK Turbo for the winter... 250bhp + Ice dont mix well! Bad enough in the rain lol Bought myself a Daihatsu Fourtrak for the winter, not gonna lie I'm hoping we get tons of snow again, will be well good fun!
