Certainly was mine I've posted up on a few forums and that, hope Jamie gets it back as it is his baby... I thought I looked after cars well but he takes careful ownership to another level!
-
Not a bad price tbh. Man up and pay it, it's not going to go away or get any cheaper any time soon.

What a bunch of fucking idiots. Ordered some new springs for my brother's Starlet on Sat 3rd Sept with 48hr delivery which is standard procedure for everything on their site. One of his front ones had snapped same as my old White SR and so he went with some PI springs same as I did, after how great I found them! I had last Monday and Tuesday off work so was looking to complete the work and have it back on the road last Tuesdsay night. Okay so they weren't going to turn up on Monday - I knew this so got cracking and did all the other jobs... full fluids, filter and plugs service, new brakes all round, droplinks, ARB bushes, track rod ends. Did all this by about 1pm so whipped all four shocks off ready for the new springs to arrive potentially on Tuesday. Tuesday came, no springs. Okay, Wednesday they should be here for definite I told myself (don't forget the 48hr delivery promise!) Wednesday, no springs. Hmmm, bit strange? Thursday, still no springs. So I logged into their site that morning and found the order to say "Order Checking" - scrolled down to the key code at the bottom and this isn't even on the code so I thought right best email them! Needless to say I was pretty pissed off at this point - I had to take my bro to work at 7am each day due to the springs not arriving! Below was my email enquiry to them (I wrote it as if I was the one in my bro's situation, to make it sound a bit more crucial that they resolve it quickly!): Order 188425 - So then, where is my order? I ordered some springs for my Toyota Starlet on Saturday with supposed 48hr delivery... It is now Thursday at approximately 11.50am - where are my springs? Because you can't keep to your delivery promises I have had to leave the car on axle stands and find a lift to work - not exactly ideal! So like I said at the start, where are they? Whats going on? I haven't even had a confirmation email or anything. I have been completely left in the dark as to where my order is; very poor customer service if you ask me. When I log into the website, all I see is "Order Checking" as the status - something which isn't even listed in the description codes at the bottom. If the order hasn't even been dispatched yet then I will seriously be considering cancelling my order, and then paying a little bit extra to order these springs through Europerformance like I did with my last Starlet. Take a leaf out of their book, you need to improve your customer service standards! Please contact me back by phone as I am currently at work and don't have time to keep sending emails back and forth. Not having a contact number on the site and making every enquiry via email is quite frankly ridiculous - particularly in a situation like this where a customer needs to know there and then what is happening with their order. Food for thought anyway... My contact number is 07xxx xxxxxx. If you cant reach me on that number then please contact Jenny on 01xxx xxxxxx. I look forward to hearing from you shortly. Regards, J T As you can see from above I also learnt that they dont have a contact number, all enquiries are dealt with via email... Seriously! This was their reply - Dear Jack We have had a few problems with our system so for that i do apologise. I have just started looking at a few orders while a few people are away on holiday so im not sure what has been agreed but we have not yet taken payment but we do have the spring kit in stock. Please advise what you would like to do with the order. Best Regards James POTN My Mum then took over and emailed back - Dear Sir , My son Jack contacted you on my behalf - please send this order out asap & if possible to arrive on Sat 10th Sept: I have had a week off & it has been ruined as I have waited at home each day , expecting the springs to arrive as we ordered these last Saturday 3rd Sept. It has also caused mayhem as my son's car has been off road all this time & he has had to be taken to work each day at 7am- great week off! I'm not impressed with the service and lack of contact - please sort this out. Since this I have then emailed them again last night (Monday 12th!) as has my Mum and not heard a thing back! She has now emailed saying we want to cancel the order and we are ordering them through Europerformance tonight instead. Seriously people, DO NOT DEAL WITH POTN! They are a bunch of muppets and it looks like they wouldn't be able to find their own arsehole if they tried! Also, my Mum decided to be a geek and ring directory enquiries and obtain a phone number, and even that when you ring it just plays a recorded message saying please email us etc! As they're only about 25miles from me in Northampton, if I don't get a response by 12 noon tomorrow I'm just going to drive up there and speak to these clowns face to face. In two minds as to just driving my Micra clean through their reception window lol Rant over.

I think we need some updates! SLIPS!
-
Update time! Just ordered a set of PI lowering springs as my brother managed to do the same as me this afternoon - snapped the front right spring... Doh! Also getting cambelt done, track rod ends, droplinks, ARB bushes, discs, pads, front tyres and a full service! New radiator as well... over £500 worth of work all in! Should make one hell of a difference though
-
LOL my bad! Hope they look well on your EP get some pics up
-
Yeah shame about the Slips, I said if he lowered it on coilies it would of looked insane but he doesnt wanna do it! Cleaned the exhaust quickly with a clay bar mate, but wire wool is what you want to use first ideally but I didnt have any left!

Just thought I would throw a few pics up of my bro's car! He's not too computer literate, and I dont think he even knows what a forum is lol I found this for him back in January, got it for a pretty decent price with 12 months MOT and 6 months Tax. Needed a few things doing but I gave it a full service the day he got it back and its been absolutely golden with no issues what so ever despite being on about 112k now. Needs the cambelt doing as well, last one was done like 3 years ago on about 70k He's just saving up atm to get it done. Few pics from the day we picked it up - still got the original TTE exhaust, pretty much rust free and Speedlines are all in decent nick too! [imghttp://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/180580_10150135223110664_566975663_8382483_1504319_n.jpg Pretty much all the modding has been done by me so far. Bought him some plates for his bday in May, only fitted them about 3 weeks ago... oops! But I think he's caught the bug and has a few more plans for it now. Tried some Rota Slips on the car but he didnt want them, and instead I've refurbed his Speedlines in Ford Graphite Grey In my view the Slips would of looked the absolute don if he just lowered it about another 20mm or so! The stance was perfect and they sit bang flush on the arch line! But he doesnt want to lower it any further so he decided to go back to the Speedlines, which now they're painted tbh I think they look just as good as the Slips! Done them in about 3hrs flat lol really chuffed with how they have come out considering how quickly I did them And with them back on the car, after a mega cleaning sesh too. My bro is a lazy shit and has probably washed it about 4 times himself since he bought it, Im always cleaning it for him and yesterday took the polish to it as there was some nasty trails all over the drivers side! Used the clay bar as well, amazing how well it has come out Next up is clear side repeaters and front lenses, and then remove the gay side strips! Then just clean clean clean and get it looking even tidier! The TTE exhaust has come up quite well, but a bit more elbow grease should have it looking brand new! Might get the rear bumper repainted too as there is a few scratches where it looks like a previous owner has reversed into something. The polish up yesterday has unfortunately made them stand out a lot more Comments and criticisms welcome folks!

Wish I never sold this! A short video my mate took the night before I sold it back in April. Not much to look at, but the sound... omgzzz <3 I miss it so much!
-
Yeah obviously if I did buy it I would make it mint, its a bit of a dog atm. It's rough round the edges but has potential and could be tidy with a small amount of work ...especially with it costing less than £800 lol
-
I have been offered this motor for very cheap due to a knocking bottom end! Just looking to find out if anyone knows anything about it, what its worth and whether anyone would be interested in any parts off it? Either looking to buy it to break or buy it to replace/repair engine, drive for a bit then sell on. What do we reckon folks? Also, anyone know what wheels these are? I reckon they're Wedsports but not 100% sure

LOL was a bit of a brutal opening line weren't it! "You put a proper engine in this yet?" Haha No not really, but seems a good crowd and its nowhere near as far as I thought it was so might start mooching over if I'm bored! Will drop by in the Shitvic once its mapped, hopefully see you around dude! -
