Whipped the head off the Civic on Saturday night, all bores seem okay except cylinder four which shows these marks... A couple of mates think it will be fine, I just want to see what people on here think! I cant feel them if I run my fingernail across them so what do we reckon? All okay and nothing to worry about or do I need to get it sorted?

Ahh good good, glad to hear she is still alive and well No but on the previous engine which was a H22A out of a Prelude it made 216 (189 at the wheels) and the printout is on CivicLife for that. The guy I bought it from said the H22A7 which is in there now feels much more powerful than the Prelude engine so I should think it is at least that maybe a little more. ATRs as standard are 215 (I think) and over a standard ATR this has the de-cat and 2.5" system so I would say 220bhp maybe? If I'm lucky Once its all sorted I will stick it on Stealth Racing's dyno and see what kind of power it makes

Well I have left the Starlet scene temporarily and bought myself another Civic! What was on initial purchase an amazing car and epic in every way has very quickly turned out to be, to put it bluntly a bit of a nail! How I bought it... Things then started to go wrong Literally no idea how or when I've done it, but a new sump is currently sat behind the drivers seat ready to go on. Then the VTEC started playing up... got it looked at and it seems compression is quite down so I've thrown in the towel and took it off the road until its ready and perfect! Current plans are to literally refresh the whole engine and then get the car colour coded. Buying bits here and there and its all coming together nicely! Done a lot of work under the bonnet just cleaning and painting, to make it look good again as was a little bit ropey! Also got the wheels powder coated Before... After... Wheels... How the car was for the last two weeks until yesterday Now its sat back on its wheels, just waiting for me to throw all the money at the engine and get it back on the road! Admittedley it does need a fair bit of TLC, but will be worth it in the end. I hope! What do you all reckon then guys? C&C welcome

Well after a few weeks of ownership all is going well! CV Joint clicking like mad, exhaust blowing so bad she sounds like a Scooby on tickover! And from all the abuse she's been getting Ive written off my front tyres good and proper!!! LOLZ. I only knew theyd gotten this bad as I saw a mate of mine out in his Astra, so to take the piss I lit up the tyres giving it the big cloud of smoke past maccies innit safe...when I saw him about two hours later he said "Oh that looked well funny earlier when you done that burnout. How the fuck did you get sparks coming off it though??" HAHA!! And yeah before anyone says, the tracking is about 4 days out so I need to get that done pronto! Tyre choice is the biggest improvement you can make on any car IMO T1-Rs for me. Although Kumho Ecsta's were pretty awesome on my SR

You were pulling out of a side junction, what looked like a residential street out onto like a two lane road in Stourbridge, not too far away from the ring road. I drove past you going from your left to your right and as I spotted you I slammed my brakes on to get a good look and proper gawped at you haha! Then at the traffic lights probably 1/4 mile up the road you went left and I was in the far right hand lane lol. Then for his 18th he bought himself an Evo VI!
