I dont like them, and my car has got the full optional lip kit and duck spoiler... Doh!
-
+1 They look immense!!

UPDATE More pics... took the rear tow eye off A because I bent it towing a mate back from Birmingham and B it looks much smoother without! De-cat is next on the list along with de-stickering all round! New tyres being ordered next week too, dropping the profile slightly so should sit a wee bit lower and handle better hopefully!

Because you have to get the binoculars out to find the front brakes, and the rears theres about 4 days of air space behind the spokes lol

So I need new tyres on my Rays soon, and looking at the options theres not a fat lot of choice of decent tyres for my 14" wheels! Decent in my eyes being T1-Rs, KU31s or Paradas - all tyres I have had on previous cars and been impressed with! But the 55s I'm after on my 14s there is fuck all available and if I drop the profile down to 50s there is even less, with the supposed "performance" tyre being A539s which I think are dog poo (got 60 profile A539s on the front now and I hate them!) So after having T1-Rs on my 306 I've spotted these Proxes CF1s on Camskill and was wondering what you guy

Erm, for someone who's used to a 150bhp Glanza I'm pretty sure they are... From a garage a lot I should expect, as with any high performance car. There's gonna be a premium on any work you do to it. I know from experience it takes about 4hrs start to finish if theres two of you doing it and your working flat out! Getting the box back in was the hardest part they weigh about the same as St Paul's Cathedral i swear! Read my earlier posts, any minor work that needed doing would be done by me and him. Major engine stuff (heaven forbid) would just be sent down to API in Harbury. My theory is if

Been in a 400bhp Type R Impreza, that was just as quick but thats had countless problems compared to the Evo. Been in a 570bhp R32 GTR as well but thats in a different league really. Labour cheaper? Look how tight are the engine bays on Imprezas?! Loads of labour costs to do what would be simple jobs on an Evo. And theres loads about because they're A cheaper for a same year Impreza and B more common than Evo's. Every man and his dog has an Impreza.

Well my friends Mum whos Evo it is, she is insured for £390 Fully Comp, with no NCB, a claim for theft and she is 39. I should expect with some delving around I could get my Mum insured on an Evo for £400 or thereabouts, she's like 52! My friends cover is with Zenith and he checked with them and there is a limit of upto 2.5 or 3.0 cars and he specifically asked if he would be allowed to drive his "Mums" Evo and they said yes. However if it was a 7 or newer they said no. I guess there is a value of the vehicle as well as how much performance is has but he's not sure. Yeah I sh

Your missing the point of finding a company that lets me drive other vehicles third party... The car would be my Mums, then I would be insured on a different car say for example my Glanza S that Ive got now for like £1300 fully comp lets say... then insure my Mum on the Evo which would be about £400 and voila I'm insured to drive an Evo 5 at 20yrs old for like £1700 lol

Loool my bad too! The savings not really an issue, provided I dont crash my bike or blow it up it should still be worth £3k at the end of the summer, so I'll sell that and it just means I gotta find about another £1500 really. 5s are going for about £4-£5k for a nice enough one! If needs be I could just sell the Starlet and buy a £200 car that Id just never use, only use it for the insurance and then the Evo be registered to my lovely mother

As per title, anyone know of any insurance companies that if you insure with them fully comp, allow you to drive third party on other vehicles...if you are under 21? I know Quinn used to do it but they dont anymore (and their up shit creek lol) and Zenith do it if your 21 or over which is also a rarity as a lot seem to be 25 or higher to get that benefit. Reason being, one of my best mate's "Mum" has got a 350bhp Evo 5 and he is 21 and allowed to drive it on the FC insurance cover for his 306 HDI lol. Just pisses me off as I go in it quite alot and everytime we come to a bend Im convinced wi

LOL geeek! So the general consensus is then that they will fit, although may have issues with them sticking out the arch a bit too far? A mate of mine is currently photoshopping them onto my car too
-
Ooooft!
-
Sorry, just realised Im being a mong... Duhhh! Well there's only one way to find out... if they stick out a little bit I aint too fussed
-
Ah it'll be alright! Bit of stance! According to the ads on eBay, theyre saying an offset of ET30? So does that mean 5 or 6mm outwards from the arch over the standard Starlet offset? EDIT: Hmmm they all seem different, literally just clicked on another set and thats saying ET24?!
-
They look awesome man, definitely gonna be looking for a set after payday! You've just made my mind up with them pics! And yeah the centres wouldnt be staying on!!! So what are you saying Im gonna need some spacers? I dont understand offsets that much tbh!
-
But I dont waaaantttt tooooo!
-
Jaystar pretty sure theyre the ones! Perfect thank you very much And Idrees, yeah them Lenso's are pretty similar but Im a fussy person lol! See looooads of Civics with these wheels on, not seen many Starlets so thought it'd be a bit unique!
-
Pretty sure theyre Lensos Idrees? omgz that green EP looks the daddy on those wheels!
-
Enzos look like Lenzos as well, theyre black with silver lip. Im looking for literally a bare standard silver set of BBS wheels on an EP91 (picky I know lol)
-
Yeah I think you might be right there mate, the big search begins! I reckon it'd look awesome
