Its £75 for insurance so works out at £1312 TPFT for the year, 18yrs old, Zero NCB, 3 points and a write-off in 2008 totalling £2950. I got the car dirty cheap IMO, it needs work but came with a few spares and such ;) Yeah, in the end lol! Was starting to get worried!! Yeah its comedy Yeah there is a fair few dings, scratches and flat spots...just wants a bit of TLC and she'll be a minter! More pics to follow, just fitted my sub back in and also the trusty Laguna splitter!

Just started it from warm and it hasnt done it. The car was stood for a few weeks when I bought it so maybe its just that ;)
-
Yeah when you first start it up after being sat still with the engine warm for more than about 10 mins. However, it didnt do it this morning when I started it up. I'll go start it now and see if it happens

As per title, whats the best oil to use in my Glanza V? Its completely boggo standard ;)
-
Been driving my Glanza about and noticed every now and again it seems theres an ear splitting squeak coming from the engine bay...so straight away you'd assume its the fanbelt. But now my Dad has just thrown a spanner in the works and got me worrying...he said it could be the water pump bearing making the noise?! Is that a common fault or not? And how easy is it to change the fanbelt on a Glanza?

Cheers bud ;) remember what I was saying about insurance being ridiculously cheap through Admiral? Probably about a month ago or so? £75.96 to swap it over from the SR to this ;) I officially love Admiral!
-
Cheers team ;) much appreciated!

Right then, as some of you will know, I sold my SR to Adam(SR17) off here, and with the money plus some raiding of the piggy bank I bought myself a 1996 Glanza! Not sure what the colour is exactly, but its a good little project for me - probably a tidy car in most peoples eyes but it has some niggly bodywork issue which I want to sort...wanna make this beauty perfect!! I think its a good base to start from, pretty much standard engine wise except for a nice HKS SSQV which sounds the don!! ;) Its currently on 82k miles (137500km) and is fitted with some tasty white Advans (can't remember wh

Picked up my Glanza yesterday, and it has these wheels on it... Now I've been told they're Advans but I'm not so sure! Any ideas folks? Also while I'm here (and because I'm lazy and don't wanna start another thread lol) anyone got any ideas what car this Recaro has come from? I quite fancy trying to source a passenger one too! ;)

That is savage! Looks like its probably one of the quickest ways to go though I suppose.

Well here is my last post on this build up...pretty sad really, without a doubt the best car I've owned! Sold the car today to another UKSC member - SR17, So hopefully he'll carry on from where I've finished off! Keep me updated on the progress bud, make sure you link in your build up so I can see how she's doing!

Fook knows then, it is sitting quite nicely thought well happy with it
-
And Amjad yeah there's a sub in the boot but its only a Vibe CBR 12 its not that heavy lol. Pretty sure my tank was on the light for these pics too! I wonder what a full tank of fuel would do!
-
I've got 45 profile on it and its just how its settled now, the lad who fitted them went away to Cardiff for a few days and came back yesterday, saw the car and said how much lower it looks now. When he fitted them he couldnt see a difference but now he reckons its really obvious

I reckon the next mod is Punto rear wiper then repaint my wheels Anthracite with a fluro green lip

KU31s as Liam has said. Really good tyres I swear by them, no much out there thats better for the same money! £55 a tyre fitted i've been using them since I got the car, so had about 5 sets on the front since Sept 09! LOL Good, little bouncy if the car is loaded up, sits flat as fook now in the bends! Guess again...its not that lol. Shoudl raise a few eyebrows! It seems some people think its funny, others are appalled - each to their own, me and my mates think its good for a bit of a giggle! Yeah we do mate! Get yourself over to Leamington its jap car heaven nowadays!! And

Now lowered 40mm on PI springs! Got my pedo bear on above the exhaust too... If anyone can get the binoculars out and work out what the sticker on the bootlid says I'll be impressed lol!
-
She's getting lowered today too :harhar:
-
258mm? Isn't that bigger than Glanza discs?
-
Well I was just saying as some N/A Starbo's have it dont they, and I dunno if mines just been faulty since I bought it lol wouldn't suprise me!
-
I see Mizlopi has posted up asking about disc size, with the response being 238mm discs, but on eGay it seems sellers have different sized discs depending on ABS or not and depending on year. I have an early 1998 SR on an R plate, with what appears to be no ABS...is it supposed to have it or not? And without going out and measuring my discs, is it definitely 110% 238mm discs I'll be needing for it?
-
So its a Mk1 arm I need then? And Luke, I cant not have a rear wiper! Did my fucking swede in on my Lupo I had before!!
-
Anyone know which mark Punto it is that I would need the wiper arm off to fit to my SR? And anybody fitted one before? Is it tricky??
-
This makes me want a Glanza soooooooooo bad! GRRRRR!

UPDATE TIMEEEE Had the car mopped on Wednesday! So she's looking swish and fly now! Well...on the rear and drivers side as the mop packed up on my mate! Half a job eh... He's vowed to finish the job when he gets a new mop from work so it's all good! Here's a few pics after I gave her a right good clean yesterday, yes I know my wheels need repainting...soon to be Anthracite methinks! Springs have been ordered too! PI lowering springs £102 delivered so pretty chuffed with that, just gotta wait for them to arrive and get them fitted Just had four new Kumho's, no more tail action
